It’s low quality image the only rejection reason?
-
Do you have any questions about how to nominate? Or how to improve your nominations? Just let us know.
-
This answer is stupid.
-
And furthermore, most of those restaurants have outdoor volleyball courts which is probably what the wayspot was.
-
And give me a break, it doesn’t exploit women.
-
Absolutely
-
Is there a creative way to take the photo so it looks completely different from the other photo? Also, the title. I would call it something completely different, or maybe Sculpture #2.
-
@conny63malies-PGO There’s a pavilion at Hatfield Inn. And Free Liberty Community Church. And two baseball fields at Leitchfield Sports Complex. And murals inside Mi Camino Real. Why don’t you try nominating one of those?
-
I mean, feel free to nominate it if you think it meets criteria. We’re not stopping you.
-
@andoxgant-ING this is an example of something near one of your nominations that is a great place for exercise. Try nominating this.
-
You’re not really showing the whole area. Where’s the basketball court?
-
This looks like a good nomination. May we have your title/description/supplemental information? Also, can you see it from satellite view?
-
Challenges are a different matter. In game objects have monetary value.
-
They have said before that they can’t reward us for our work with anything that has monetary value because then we would be considered workers.

You may have seen one hair salon that was a pokestop. But I doubt you’ve seen more than one. The list at the end of the nomination “what is it” Is not a list of things that are eligible. Even if you add flourishing words it probably will not get accepted.
-
Yes, the process is flawed. But wailing against the fact that a hair salon got rejected is not helpful. Why won’t you try to pick something that is eligible instead of playing the victim? And insulting people who are trying to help.
-
@Goatmaster9001-PGO instead of being upset that a hair salon was rejected, how about let us help you find something eligible to nominate.
-
Are they in the correct location?
-
Believe it or not, that’s not adult oriented. Families eat there all the time.
-
No I mean in real life. The customers didn’t leave very good reviews. “Poor service, old pastries, etc”
-
Well if you look at it that way, sparse areas would never get any pokestops.
-
Why don’t you nominate this mural at the pizzeria instead?
-
The cake shop doesn’t have very good reviews, but the way.
-
How long do nominations in your area usually take to get an answer? Because you could try to improve the nomination (we can help). Appeals usually take a long time.
-
May I ask? What does the email say?
-
Actually, I might change my mind on this. I do see the other fountains in the game, which must mean that the local reviewers saw value in it. I think you need to make your description and supplemental information better. Saying “this is the third drinking fountain” isn’t really helpful. Focus on it more as a decorative…
-
You use a lot of exclamation points!
-
I doubt they will be able to help you. But if that is a restaurant, that is one of the hardest things to get approved. It’s hard for a reviewer to understand the significance of a local restaurant. And it’s hard to convince them. We can help you improve the nomination if you would like.
-
No, but Niantic does not add things to the game because you asked for it in these forums. They have to reviewed by people like us. We’re actually trying to help you. We can help you find eligible things to nominate in your area.
-
You should nominate the dock, not the flagpole. And your supplemental information should explain why it meets criteria, not “a nice additional stop along the way”. That isn’t relevant.
