Again, i don't ask if this is eligible or not. I ask if it's possible to speack with Niantic about the rejected appeal because the rejecteion reason the give to me is obviously a mistake. To answer to you: This sign is not mass producted (how it could be???). The fact that the village who install these sign have use simple…

I put many informations in the nomination as always. For information, here in Les Vosges, in France, there is more than 10 000 differents trails. For obvious reason, they are not referenced on the internet. So put a link is not possible. And about this sign, it's a serie of 6 sign made by the village about electricity,…

It's the second sign of a serie of 6 education sign about electricity, power lines and powerplants. This one is about electricty transport with power lines. Niantic has validated the first sign (with an appeal) some months ago, so it's not logic they refused the second one. (The communauty always reject submissions outside…

No it's not. It's a part of a serie of 6 sign about electricity and power lines. They are placed along a trail. The first sign was validated by Niantic (with an appeal) some months ago. They refused this one (the second one) . It's curious they validated the first and refused the second sign of the same serie... (the last…

The first one i get was a box of Kellog's Frosties. Abus

If someone have an idea it would be great. I shearch for alternative without succes for now

Not really interesting AMA... No word on the problem of trail markers rejection. (they are still massively rejected despite they are eligible) No word on the number of appeals (it will take years to appeal every trail marker who are falsely rejected)
-
Submit one: if accepted, submit thes others. if it’s rejected, make an appeal, Niantic will certainly validate it (if it’s a real trail marker) and then submit the others.
-
This help. Thanks. i just won’t go there again soon, so it will be definitly lost as a poi. this post was made just to inform Niantic that their advice is bad because they ask for a sign that were in the additionnal photo.
-
I’ve explain that in additionnal information we can give when appel. i remember explain where is the sign and give a link to prove the sign is an official one.
-
If you want, but i don’t see why you need that.
-
That’s won’t happen because i won’t go again on this place soon. and even if one day i go there again i won’t use a nomination to submit something Niantic have refused, even if i think that’s a really good place. putting the sign as primary photo instead of the place itself is not something i will do in a case like that.…
-
The sign here is not as good as the fountain itself. i don’t agree with you, suggesting to put the sign in the supporing information when the sign is already in the supporting photo is a total non-sense. by the way, i will probably won’t go on this place since many weeks/mounths. So this won’t be a wayspot, despite it’s an…

there is some other trail markers already validated in the village, but the nearest is ~250m away (and that’s generally not a problem) I have 100% approval by Niantic for trail markers. (French submissions) thanks for tour answer. i will resubmit and when i have an appeal with no use, i’ll use on it if it’s not validated…

When people stop rejecting good nomination, the system will become faster. (because less nomination would have to be submitted many times) Until then, the only solution is getting upgrades.
-
That's totally false: POI don't have any effect on the pokemon spawn. Some wayspot were created here since more than a year, and there is litterally no pokémon spawn auround them. (and that's a big issue, but it's pokemon go related)
-
It’s forbidden to have two wayfarer accounts, so it’s maybe the reason why the second account was banned.
-
Supporting rural is not a wayfarer-only problem. The first problem for rural is the lack of wayspot. The consequence is it's difficult or impossible to play Niantic games in rural area, so it's impossible to be able to submit something to create a wayspot. There is many possibilities to solve this problem: -Give the…

According to the rules, i think all of them are eligible.
-
Approved: Two trail markers and one post office. No rejection for now.
-
In my opinion, we nominate the trail (or the segment of the trail) near the marker. Not the marker itself. (even if it's the physical item used to nominate wayspot) This question is really interesting because we need a real clarification about trail marker in order to stop them being rejected 80% of the time, despite they…

I prefer nominating than reviewing, essentially because i found reviewing boring, especially because of coldown and because of foreign language reviewing. Having a coldown is not fun. Having to review something is a language in don't understand is not interesting. Nominating is fun, except when reviewer reject something…

Trail markers are mass producted, but you (Niantic) had said that we nominate trail, and not the marker. And trail markers are eligible. So it's not always as simple as that?
-
And i forgot to say, that, unfortunatly, the appeal system will certainly be not enought to manage to solve this problem. As @NianticDanbocat said in the other subjet, the communauty made a mistake, and i should appeal... But here, there is only a few trail marker. There are hundreds of them, so hundreds of potentials…

Bench are not always rejected: But they need something really special to get accepted.
-
Yes, we can learn from rejection... only if theses rejections are totally legit and correctly explain. The problem with the rejection is that they don't follow the rules, so it's impossible to learn something from a rejection. Two examples: -I try to nominate 4 differents sign about nature. On of them get validated on the…
-
I agree. But i still think it would better to have 5% bad wayspot accepted rather than reject 30% of valide nomination just because there is a little doubt. i think the majority of people who submit things are not here to try to cheat the system. Especially for trail marker in rurual area. (There are plenty of trail…
-
You have your opinion. I have mine. And i won’t change. i’m not saying we have to accept something that does not meet criteria. i just say that if there is a little doubt, especially for something in an area with only a few wayspot like trail marker, it is better to validate it and took the risk to maybe validate a bad poi…

Ok, good to know for UK. I never saw them, but i think that a sign witch indicate a public footpath is eligible according to the rules. It's very different from one country to an other. As i said, in France, the large majority of trail marker don't have a name on them (like those in the submission here... And…
-
Not in France. It’s the law. It’s totally forbidden to install trail marker on a private path. and there is no name on the majority of trail markers because the name is on the map… map witch are sold by IGN (so not on the internet). The only thing that exist on the internet is the link i give in additionnal information:…
