Similar is not identical. In a city, there is at least 25 similar painting as a POI. And there is no 25km distance between two. Here we have two similar (but not identical) mushroom wood sculture with 25km between two. That's more locally unique than all the paintings in the same city. If i submit the picnic place, i will…

That's why i will submit the QRcode. I just hope reviewer will read the additionnal information to understand that QR is a digital sign. Thanks.
-
As i said, i don't have picture, and what was said is enought to not submit the wind turbines for now (despite the fact i think they are really important) For the QRcode, i'm certain they are eligible because they are sign about nature or educationnal sign about the wind turbine. (depends on the QRcode) AND they are also a…

Ok thanks. Not really cool, but ok. (I don't agree on the generic/mass producted argument because that something unique and very interesting in the area) So i will only submit the QRcode around them. QRcode witch grand acces to digital information sign about the Wind turbines (on an dedicated app). As a sign accessible to…

ok thanks

So explain why a sculpture (witch is art) won’t meet criteria and why we had to refuse all sculptures and all form of art despite Niantic put « art » under exploitation criteria. and also explain why a picnic place (witch wHere the mushroom is) is not a great place to meet people. if you manage to do that i will stop…

The problem with the "doesn't meet criteria" is the fact it's on ALL rejection email and give no real information on why it's rejected: it's the most generic reason given by the rejection email. I think it's meet criteria (and i already said why) so, unless Niantic clearly said somewhere that wood scupltures are not…

Appear on the map two months ago, so it's a recent wayspot evaluated with current rules. And the rules change and more things are allowed, not less ;)
-
I listen but i ask for advice and some people can and just say "not elligible" without reading what i wrote and without any explaination. And only a few people came here and give advice on how to avoid false rejection like "not permanent" ou "natural feature" witch are the two things i have in rejection email.
-
That's not a correct rejection according to Niantic's Criteria. If this should not be a POI, so nothing should be a POI. This mushroom is bordeline: because there is no evident pedestrian acces and nothing around it (it just in the middle of nowhere) but it's a POI. The mushroom i suggest is less bordeline (pedestrian…

That's won't rot as long as the village maintain it. Witch is the case. And that's meet many criteria.
-
I post to get advice for the next time i submit this (or something similar) in order to avoid false rejection. I’m sure this is eligible (it meet criteria ans many sculpture like this are already POI) so i don’t want to debate of the eligibility. I just want to know how to have this place accepted.
-
if you think like thos, so you shoud refuse all art submissions and request for deleting all mural painting , all scultures in parks and towns, and all other decorating sculptures everywhere. That’s not how the system works. there is a similar scupture that was accepted in a city. If it’s acceptable in a city, it’s…

That's why i use "seems" ;)
-
This doesn't seem generic.
-
Sorry English is not my native language and sometimes i misunderstand. ;)
-
If i just look the guidelines it’s perfectly eligible and the problem is the same : reviewer who don’t follow the criteria and create false rejection. i’m sure this one is eligible.
-
The first time it was rejected for being temporary witch is false and i proove it with a video. the second time is rejected for being a natural feature witch is obviously false. and a similar sculpture is a POI in a town near my village, so that’s proove it can be a poi.
-
Heu... This is art. Made by woodsman of the village. It's interesting, and when i invite friens in my village i show them that (and i'm not the only one to do that). It's as interesting as all the mural art in cities and it certainly not generic. The fact YOU don't like it musn't be considered when reviewing.
-
Mass-producted? That? lol . It's artisanal, mabe by hand on a old tree... Generic? Lol again. How could you said that scupture, made in a tree is generic? If this is generic, so everything is generic. Really crazy to read that. You must reject every submission you evaluate if you consider that generic and uninteresting. I…

I will create a pphotshpère even if i don't really see what that could change. That cost nothing to try. ;) Do you think upgrade the next nomination i do could increase the chance to get it validated? (the two times rejected it was not upgraded)
-
I never said my submissions are 100% correct all the time. Sometimes i perfectly understand the rejection and that's end here. But there are many rejection that are not justified, of with false rejection reason (like the mushroom sculpture rejected as a natural feature) and every time that's happen, i post a message to try…
-
I my opinion it meet the social and the exploration criteria. Social: It's on a pic-nic place where people of my village can meet each other. Exploration: it's a sculpture (art)
-
I will ask for appeals as long as there will be rejection with false reasons like this one. Niantic have to know that some reviewers reject submissions that are perfectly eligible. If people think that's not a good submission, they should explain why. From my point of view, it's one of the best thing i found in my village.…
-
Once again, about this nomination in particular: it's impossible to proove everything. Many submissions are validated without having to provide hundred of proof. (and curiously: the playground for children in the equestrian center were validated two day after the rejection of the carrer of the equestrian center, and no…

I don't say we have to evaluate differently urban and rural area. I have no problem with having less stop in my village than in town. I just say that we have to follow Niantic criteria without putting subjective point of view. Trail marker are eligible for Niantic, so we have to accept them. Each time someone reject a…
-
I review submissions too. And a trail marker in a natural area (like a forest) is the kind of submission i love to see. It's not random, it's the way to discover natural area. Of course when they are in town or in a village with other good wayspot near to them it's not the same, because once again: we evaluate the trail,…

Maybe. But for me, every time i get a rejection, i feel scammed by the system (not sure if we said that in english) because i check amny times all what i submit in order to avoid rejection. Despite that, i get rejection with false arguments (like living animal for a famous place with a sign) or with the vague "not meet…
-
Again, i don't agree. Trail marker are a very good thing for the game, because they allow us to nominate some place in natural area. They are the only thing we can found in nature to nominate as a POI. (as long as Niantic don't allow natural features) And in many place, there are no name on the trails markers, because it's…

The "does not meet criteria" is too vague. And generally when we submit something, we submit a place that's meet the criteria.
