Casey deemed both Mall Directories ineligible and "digital signs" used for advertisements as ineligible. What makes you think combining them together makes them now eligible? What does remote raiding have to do with this thread. Please stay on topic.

Huh? What does this have to do with the thread?

If its listed on the national registry for historic buildings I suggest finding it on there and its number and referencing that. It gives it alot more credibility and should help with proving the location.
-
Can you post a correct link to the picture?
-
How are directories not just maps of generic businesses/advertisements?
-
An unmaintained, abandoned building, that is fenced off, is probably not the safest location for a Waypoint. Is this building listed on the National Historical Location registry?
-
Without being able to see the picture as the link doesnt work. From the title and description its very lacking. You should put some time into a better title the describes the mural and a description also describing it citing the artist when possible.

The first 2 I could go either way. Now the first one I do like a lot personally but it could be quickly done and temporary. I would still likely rate it decently. The third one I believe is a websites advertisement for their panda stencil and a mock up of how it looks. I’m guess these were just pulled from google images.…

Show me a picture of one thats not just generic advertising and a map of generic businesses.

A memorial plaque still needs to be a notable member of the community and the submitter would need to prove that.

Overall, I think escape rooms are a good nomination. Even better if you can prove its not part of a chain company doing escape rooms. Each location would have their own unique rooms that would be different than other places escape rooms. So I think it really can meet multiple criteria. I think it all comes down to getting…

Honestly it’s very unfortunate this was rejected. I see nothing wrong with this submission. my advise is to resubmit and add a note in the submission statement that references the potentially confusing Wayfarer help guide listing the criteria for Trail Markers. I wish you the best of luck on this submission.

The only time an in game reference would be valid is if it’s related to the Waypoint itself. Such as a mural of a Pikachu would be valid to say Pikachu. A mural that depicts ingress glyphs or team logos would be fine to mention them as such. If the waypoint is unrelated then it would be rejected.

This is a tough question. I really think it would come down to the surroundings too. If all the other gravesites next to this spot contained remains and the area was still active I would be hesitant. Now if it was an area, of just similar stones without remains nearby I would be more include as a memorial and think it…

In my area we have pollinator highways which is a network of similar pollinator gardens. While the signs are not unique each location is at a garden that promotes pollinators such as Butterfly’s and Bees. Overall it’s similar to nature education signs as it explains the importance of these gardens and pollinators to the…

100% this. Each habitat signage is unique and encourages exploration and adventure. It almost makes a virtual AR map of the zoo and encourages people to go see each one. Like a scavenger hunt, it only enhances some people’s experience at the zoo.

Yea 100% agree, if it’s unique and custom and permanent then it’s absolutely a cool little thing for a Waypoint. And sometimes fakes will get through but we all just have to do our best.

We have all had bad rejections, but 14 rejections for valid things seems very high. If you post the submission details, photo, title, description etc. We don't mind trying to help you improve them. You may think they are fine but it never hurts to have others review them and provide feedback.

@NianticCasey-ING There has been a debate on one of the clarifications on the Wayfarer Help. It has come up a lot in this and similar discussions about signs versus the actual point of interest. Signs for locations/objects that are already existing Wayspots - Eligible, if they are a significant distance from the object or…

Could you post a photo?

"Try again. I wouldn't elaborate on the nomination that it's gated off, and try and avoid the gate in the picture." This is great advise, for this and any future nominations. Avoid any pictures or angles that may make a location less desirable by reviewers.
-
I understand the pain, Ive had upgraded stuff denied 5+ times, its very frustrating. However, if the location is important to you I suggest keep trying. Also Street View Count is not an accurate representation as if they just hit 1* on the review and never interacted with the map it might not count or, if Wayfarer is not…

Couple things here. There is no way to know how many votes it took for it to be rejected. Stuff inside a gated apartment community is eligible in the common space, however its often rejected as private residential property. My suggestion would be to go get a better photo, add a more detailed description, and in the…

Please stay on topic. This thread is not about Apiary or Seafood Restaurants. Its solely about Digital Signage.
