"Back in my day"... I'll start with that because this I will be an old timer post. We had a guy in the early days who made sure part of his finger was in each picture he submitted. This was before OPR when Niantic did all the reviews. He did this as his calling card. Since it is easy to see something like this it should…

Wish they used the supporting photo for the main photo and sold it as a view point. The bench is inviting to sit and enjoy the view. Gives the nature photo an anchor. Not sure I would give it stars for that or not.

Only a year off. 😣😢

I think there is a big diffrence between survey markers for roadways and the national survey markers used to mark elevation, borders and mountain tops.
-
And once you figure out the time you can be there when it goes live and watch it populate. I was hoping for fireworks, but it just appears.
-
Nominate the playground in the second one. Are there signs anywhere on these?
-
Well I still haven't seen an email, checked spam and everything so... Guess still waiting. 😂
-
Well must have clicked the wrong name. Now we can see how easy it is to click on the wrong reason when voting if they are next to each other. In my line of work we call that having a "**** Finger" like ordering 4 instead of 1.
-
I can see the @ symbol getting some negitive feed back. There is a local here who uses them in his nominations. It's not causing problems yet as most will still get accepted but almost always after it goes live an edit is put in to replace the @ with "at" Echoing what @JillJilyJabadoo-PGO and @HankWolfman-PGO said if there…

You say there is recognition for its historical value, is there a plaque or something denoting its history? TBH I'd see this building and would reject and move on unless something caught my eye.
-
Have you received a decision on the spot yet? What may happen once it is complete the data base will update and it will appear in game after that days sync. Seems like maybe that spot was approved but because it was within the old 20m rule it did not appear. Now since they have adjusted those rules maybe the new picture…

There aee a bunch in my city. People have spent a lot of time hiking in our hills and our trail system, and have submitted most trail markers.
-
Bad part is that because some are getting through it is actually making it easier for more to get voted through. Only way to stop this would be for Niantic to remove them all at once from both in game and in voting. I'm sure there are things around that would make much better candidates but because of this flood of bad PoI…

How big is your town? The city where I live it's taking 2 years, but just outside the city it's only a few months. Not even 20 minutes away.
-
They probably should tweet out new PoI of the day. Submission Gold. Maybe weekly give us stats on how many PoI were approved, how many way points were improved (edited). Since they have history I wonder if they can show maps of areas before (pre wayfarer) and after. Show what can happen with good nominations.

Without seeing what you have done its all speculation. I doubt Niantic would ban somone over 1 thing. It's usually would be something that was done incorrectly over and over again. Make sure you check your spam folder to see if it got placed there.

That was the plan but I got a much shallower queue

I recently moved mine south from south western Washington to North Western Oregon so I could help with some nominations in Central Oregon. I was hoping to stay within range of Portland and be able to see smaller towns like Bend or Corvallis I think I went just a bit too far east. I only got Bend and parts of Salem, and now…

I have seen a lot of course tees and holes submitted, so far have not seen many locally get accepted. But if one or two get accepted it's probably going open the flood gates. They will become hard to remove.
-
I'd pass this, and then when ever I'm in that area submit new photos up close. Most people have never taken any sort of photography class or really paid attention to what they are taking a photo of. They won't think about asthetics or object to background ratios. Ps the photo orientation Rejection reason should probably be…

Should not the Artist of prices of art be credited? We have an art collective here in Boise, Sector_Seventeen and the artists are all @handles. Without crediting the artists I think would cause more problems. Yes we shouldn't say Instagram @handle but if the art is signed by @handle (no other name given) then it should be…

Nothing wrong with the photo

This was a bug last year as well. The solution last year was to thumbs up a picture in PoGo, then at the next sync they appeared. I know this is only a solution for the ones that show up in PoGo but that is a start.
-
I think there is also a possibility of getting multiple agreements for one review. Like if you are reviewing edit that is a title edit a description edit and also a location I believe you can get three agreements off of One review.
-
There were times we got double agreement points in ingress so thats (the recon badge) not an accurate metric.

How about use that photo to appeal the removal request in the appeal part of the forum. That should be an easy removal.
-
You may be reviewing too many too fast. Take your time and take breaks every so often. If you do too many and it starts to think you are just going too fast it forces you to slow down.
-
A thrift shop probably not. The local Salvation Army meeting house and Chappel is locally a spot. It really needs to depend on the context.
-
I just noticed something about your submission that you submitted on January 27th of this year if you are appealing that that means it was already rejected less than three days after it was submitted. Likely Niantic actually grabbed this submission and reviewed it themselves since it appears that the other two took two to…
