Niantic uses a grid system like shown in the picture below for Pokémon go and if your nomination shares a cell with another poi(pokestop/gym) it will not be in the game. That is most likely your problem. However I for some reason this one does not appear in Pokémon go. Out of the 400+ noms I have had accepted this is the…

Here I am 9 days later since my last post and now over 100 nominations in queue/voting dating back to March 4th and still not one single submission has been decided on unless it was upgraded in the past 4 weeks. As I stated earlier nominations until March have never taken more than a month or so in my area. It has now been…
-
I could not tell you. The population here is probably 200k-400k and I also submit a lot at Hilton Head Island and both places over the past years have taken submission anywhere from a week to 3 months tops. The complete hault of my nominations going through voting not upgraded started the last week of Feb. The prior month…

here it is on ittc map

This is the exact thing I meant has happened here. I just did it in a more confusing way. Haha. I haven't had a chance to look at s2 level16 cells yet. Is your city a medium size? Maybe that is the cause. When they reconfigured the process back in Feb or March maybe they did the calculations for large and small dense areas…

@MargariteDVille-ING Are you familiar with Greenville or the new Unity Park that opened last month? Half of my noms are within a mile or two south away from downtown just south of the new park which is pretty populated. 25% Are way down Augusta Rd. towards Greenwood and another 25% are near whitehorse rd. and I-85. So I…

not exactly rural ruralbut I would consider it rural as far as population goes but yes rural as far as stops go(realize this isnt what you mean) and just outside a city of 300k ish by about 5-10 miles. In other words outside the city limits. Greenville, SC if you want to look at a map. Check Donaldson Center area off…

No idea. My city is around 300k and it usually takes 1-3 months. It was weird in February everything would go through the whole process in 1-2 weeks but it usually takes 1-3 months here and I’ve done a lot at Hilton Head Island and same time frame. And I promise I’ve done this for a while.
-
If you do not even understand what this is about then why comment? Where was it answered? No where do I see why my 60-70 in the city have been in voting nearly 100 days and the other 30-40 located 5+ miles outside the city in rural areas are in voting still. I’m confused? I thought this was a forum to ask questions?
-
So you are saying the 20-30 in low density areas that have been in voting for nearly 100 days have had someone answer what’s going on with them? Or the ones that are in the middle of downtown or congested parts of the city. The other 60-70? I am confused where this was resolved????? Confusing response

I didn’t hear about any event for lvl38. And yes Downtown Greenville is just about maxed out. Still a lot to go in the new Unity Park and West Greenville though. I added 30-40 in those areas April-May. West Greenville is an area I have tons just sitting and that area has very few stops. Tons of churches there even…

I’ve reviewed over 60,000 nominations with what I think is a good review rate which is about 77% match rate since probably 10%-15% were voted on wrong by others and I am the one with the problem lmao.
-
I can see it being a factor in places where reviewers might speak a different language. Good point! Here in the U.S. we are fortunate to only have this problem 0.2% of the time.
-
My submissions are all over the map. 10+ mile radius and the areas vary from saturated with poi to not another poi in site. Although I use to agree more populated(more local voters) played a role in time in voting I believe this has completely flipped to rural nominations with no voters for miles and miles away now go…
-
I use to consider which I should upgrade while heavily considering how it would vary in voting locally compared to not locally and concluded this has almost 0% influence on how voters vote. What is the logic behind why voters locally accept more? They want more nearby wayspots? I would think voters are more interested in…

I hit my 300th 2.5 weeks ago & thought I was the man. No sir. You are the man!!!
-
Exactly. The only reason I am in this situation is because I nominate 8-10 things a week(currently out of available nominations) with a very high acceptance rate. I can only review so much. I earn around one upgrade a day.
-
I have had no luck(10+) with memorial benches for local heroes and local people that made a difference to the community. I have tried every angle, view and distance zoomed with no success so I assume most are not and have been very critical voting on them personally.
-
If that window art is the same after halloween and you can prove it isn't different I will stop reviewing for life(have reviewed over 60,000 poi noms).
-
But aren’t we the monkeys reviewing already? Players are doing their work for free. Haha. I have told people they should give us 1% of whatever is made off pokemon players raiding. I am responsible for 100+pokemon gyms. If people do an average of 10(probably a lot more than that) raids per day at each I would be making $10…

Why can they not give us a 5-10 page answer sheet every year or so of the guidelines to what should and should not be accepted deleting or over ruling any past rules? Everything seems to turn into an argument with both sides making great points. Something like a golf rules book with an index to find what page the answer is…
-
You passed the test if you looked at the guidelines before reviewing haha. I was expecting a bunch of arguing over this before someone noticed ha. And yes they really need to be updated.
-
Yes I realize poi are rejected for 1* and 2* title or visually unique. I get that and that is my point. Don't reject something because its title is terrible 1* that category not the poi. And yes we do not know the process Niantic takes to accept/reject something and that is why you should not reject a nom for bad title.…
-
Aren't we suppose to reject for being a bad nomination and not the title or description? Isn't that what title/description section is for. Good nom then 5* with a mention of pokemon or terrible title 1or2 Title/Description depending on how bad for description. Now if the description says john tennis courts and its a…

If you went by this logic you would need to do it for just about everything. What about a statue or a plaque? Should it be placed 15' away so we wont be in the way of the plaque someone might walk up and want to read? How about a footbridge? We block those but I bet you put the pin right on it or the entrance and if its…
-
Look at your email after you nominate a poi. Right below the picture should be the coordinates. Yes it is very useful.
-
Will we be able to take the upgrade next off the one currently stuck with that tag or will it be reset? I really don't want to waste an upgrade on that nomination since it will be close to a decision having been in voting 2+ months by then. Upgrades are like gold & this would not make me happy. I like the new system &…

Great example!

Felt like the process was really sped up in Jan-Feb. I had noms hit voting in a day and voted on within a week. Usaully takes 4-5 days to hit voting and about 2-4 weeks to go through voting in my area. Since then I have seen nothing go through voting and it take a very long time to exit the queue. I am currently sitting on…

I always try to take my picture right in front of the sign with the church in the background(like the pic below) and if that isn't possible do the sign with the pin on the church. I put it at the main entrance(this one is on the side by the parking lot) or center of the church. I agree with no letters on church makes a…
