If it looks like a generic street sign or common trail marker, we don't have to accept them. That's like having an annoying spouse who keeps tell you, "Oh look, at this gas price!".

How about a retroactive Ingress badge earned for the Global Challenge in Europe?
-
LOL. Obviously, let's go easy on a newbie.

Many of us use Google Translate. It's a little slower with the constant copy and paste but it works on doing this correctly. You might want to sit out for a week to avoid getting a poor review status.

I'm getting tired of bulletin boards already.

Safe pedestrian access looks problematic for all except maybe one of them and even that is not a very exciting place to meet or explore. I also agree with the above statements when Niantic declared that apartment entrance signs are not eligible unless it is fabulously artistic. I would believe the same implies for…

I will accept all nominations written in Celtic Welsh, especially if we go back to England. s/

Note that it says it was rejected for other reasons, as well. Some reviewers may not like what they see on Google streetview that shows the generic restaurant in between a car rental and truck tire shop with a plumbing store across the highway as an unassuming businesses. It doesn't look like a safe for children to ride…

It won't be "new" one year later. Don't say that in the description. And don't nominate dirty park restrooms as it's gross.
-
Go ahead and move it to the correct location. It's the right thing to do.
-
By far, I prefer to accept permanent footbridges over insignificant trail mile markers or wood planks over a ditch. So, yes go ahead and feel free to accept this.
-
So, you want to reject it the hard way? I would have picked "Obstructs Emergency Operations" which is true in case there is a power outage but everyone loves "Generic Business" selection. /s

As a Gold Star Father, I can speak on behalf of our fallen heroes. My ideal Veterans Memorial is a large honorable monument that represents many of the brave men and women who were in the U.S. service, such as at a national cemetery or at the center of a beautiful memorial site. It's a sensitive place and obviously most…

Oh, Look #1 and Look #69. To me, this means it must be mass-produced, generic, and not interesting. Use your professional judgement. I have successfully gotten similar objects accepted in the same park by using interesting and creative titles instead of numbers.

If this is in the USA, then that is most likely on private property unless it's a duplex, fourplex, or small apartment in the front. I do not comment about easement regulations outside of USA. Almost everywhere in the USA, homeowners' property as I am one of them, extends all the way to the street curb and we mow own lawns…

Yes, but it's not recommended with that ugly and dirty photo of that picnic table (it's passable but few reviewers will have low-expectations). Other nominators make it look exceptional compared to yours. So, try to take a 3D photo angle with a beautiful park view (less dirty surface view on the table).

Niantic said the official language is preferred, implying the most common and expected language in the country or region. I emphasize on determining to accept or reject the nomination for that location. So, if I get a review for a location in Germany, I expect to read German language. Again, I don't think you'll like to…

Well, in USA, people slam on the auto brakes and pull over. Get out of their cars and take photos at welcome signs and then post it on social media. The bigger and more customized, the better. It's an American fetish thing. But no one does that at neighborhood and apartment signs or worse, shopping plaza signs.

Guam and Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, it's not part of the 50 states and therefore has their own respectful language. I guess I'll accept nominations in Celtic Welsh with a cafe photo putting ice in a cup of tea in London. /s

It cannot be "bad reviewing" while I have Great Wayfarer review status. Thank you for sharing your own opinion. We all use own our best judgements.

"Frontier" may be offensive to some hyper-sensitive people because of American history on colonialism. But that's silly and the incorrect rejection reason. Welcome to town signs are acceptable as long as there is a safe pedestrian path. This is different from what looks similar to neighborhood or apartment entrance signs…

While it's true that you can Google translate in Wayfarer review and approve it, foreign languages will still pop up in the game and local players don't like trying to figure out what it says. So, in the United States, English is the official language and when reviewers see nominations in Spanish, it's reasonable to reject…

All Starbucks can be rejected. It's a mass-produced global chain and there is nothing more to question about it. It's okay to reject church playgrounds with a fence around it because it may have daycare, preschool, or a private school. Open playgrounds are unlikely to be at any U.S. schools. U.S. veteran memorials are a…

In regards to plantations in which I think is poorly worded here, this is in reference to America's dark history of the Confederacy (The South) that led to the bloody Civil War from 1861-1865 where 620,000 died. Niantic should reword it as Confederacy symbols and statues. It's the most controversial topic to bring up in…

@Gendgi-PGO Do not rub your Opinion Police enforcement on me. This is my decision and that's final. I persistently have "Great" Wayfarer review rating.
-
I agree this would be a 1* and be done with it. Perhaps Niantic wants us to slow down and take the time to navigate: Click Accurate and High Quality - thumbs down Click "Bad Title" or whatever you prefer; any of them will reject it. It could be nice to have a big stamp button: COAL! But there are some lazy reviewers who…

Overall, I'm very pleased with the new Wayfarer format. My reviews have processed faster while maintaining good judgement and integrity. Been here since 2020 so I already have 5-digit review experience and know many intricate decision-making. I'm always adaptable and gracious give myself time to new changes. I use a 32"…
