Mines are permanents and made of stone
-
Minesare permanents, but please read this
-
Odd. Maybe if I give a link to the forum, I will have better luck next time, but I cannot find it anymore...
-
I had the niantic symbol on my review list for some reasons. Does that mean Niantic reviewed and rejected my nomination even though they said it's elligible? I am confused..
-
Well. I did not see this and I do not know where to start looking
-
Do you have a link to said comment?
-
Of course. I mean we are the users. They should explain everything that can cause a rejection.
-
I feel like making a new test everytime the criteria change could be a good idea.
-
Indeed. They still did not explain how this rejection can happen. I mean in order to be accepted, does a nomination need something like 20/30 stars and if it gets less than that it gives an e-mail with the lowest rating or something?
-
They can take a long time in a crowded area. You are supposed to 3* the location unless you believe it does not exist. Educational panels and trail markers in the wood are things that are easy to give the benefit of the doubt. Faking photosphere is incredibly easy
-
Photospheres are not a requirement, when something is in the wood in the middle of nowhere, I give the benefit of the doubt the majority of the time and photospheres have nothing to do with Niantic
-
I Personally met mothers who told me that the current distance was way safer for their kids. It also limit the chances of morons trespassing at certains areas
-
The reason is called "innapropriate location" which leaves way too much room for interpretation. We should either rename or remove that reason as some people are too lazy to even read the paragraph below
-
Assure toi que la photosphere est uploadé un peu à côté de la rue et que la pin soit à la même place pour ta nomination. Si tu upload ta nomination sur la rue. Le street views de google aura priorité.

Local reviewers already all accept different structures. There's also people who's sole potential for waypoints are structures in parks. Obviously if it's part of the same, it's a double, but there's many parks here where different structures are all waypoints. Why would soccer field #1, #2,#3 would be elligible and not…

I understand why Niantic wants a cooldown to avoid mindless reviewing, but I'd prefer if they forced people to wait 10 seconds before rejecting or something or if they cooldowned only people who mass reject/mass accept everything. Like giving 1* to everything is sus and so is giving 5* to everything. However the rating…
-
I usually tend to accept if they are two different structures, but if a slide and a swing is on the same structure. It's different.
-
Why wouldn't they? It would massively reduce their amount of complaints. The users have the right to know the consequences of the website they are using.
-
In Quebec city, it takes about 2 months without an upgrade. But I believe it takes more than that downtown
-
Multi residential complex are not considered private property according to Niantic's rules.
-
I honestly think that some reviewers don't bother reading the paragraph that opens before taking that rejection reason.. "innapropriate" can mean way way too many things. Niantic need to either change the title of the rejection reason or just remove it.
-
Thank you. I don't see the bugged edits anymore. Tell good job to the team.
-
That's not abuse if they are just clueless about how to do a good nominations. Yes I hate it when submitters do that, but if you know that person, maybe you could help them get better instead of saying it's abuse?
-
It's not? It takes quite a while for waypoints to be approved.
-
I just checked the rewards. They are really underwhelming and Niantic drastically underestimate how much work this is.
-
You need to slow down and wait about 20 seconds no matter how obvious nominations are. This is a very flawed system and I hope Niantic rework it as I do believe it's one of the main reason so many things gets stuck in a long time.
-
The only two ways to have your stuff reviewed quickly is to start voting on wayfarer to get upgrades et convince local reviewers to do so as well.
-
I 100% agree with you, like I only know because people told me before I was level. I also met quite a few people claiming that they thought Niantic employees were the ones reviewing. There's also those that started reviewing, but stopped after getting a few cooldowns(in my local discord, they claim it often happen after…
-
Rural areas have a massive anount of priority in Wayfarer. I got a friend who asked for stuff in the middle of nowhere and it was accepted in like 3 days.
-
When it's possible to move the pin, it might be nice to do it. Unfortunately sometimes something is elligible, but just too close to other stuff. So people will receive an acceptation e-mail and it won't appear in game
