Niantic do not promote wayfarer enough. Being vocal on social media even if it was once a month or doing facebook posts would help more people be aware of it Some of my friends tried it and were cooldown'ed and never did it again. They showed me their green rating so I know they were not the problem. There's no reward.…

Yes it is. Make sure you put emphasis on the fact that those markers encourage exercise and exploration in additional information. It can be frustrating sometimes because you might have to send it a few times before getting it approved.
-
Yes. I gave my real home location.
-
I often get submissions close to home.
-
Definitely. We have a trail that's getting fuller and a local facebook group with about 50 people.
-
I feel like you should be able to click on all categories and see an example of what's accepted. I mean, it's a bit ambiguous for new reviewers the way it's written.
-
Yes. Thank you. I will inform my local discord
-
Local cafes have been elligible as gathering spot for quite a while. It's not a new rule. Look at the guideline clarification from the past. It was already legitimate as long as it's not generic like starbucks
-
According to the new criteria page. It seems like it is elligible, but I would like further clarification from official Niantic's employees.
-
I don't understand your language, but I assume you got a cooldown? Anyway it happens to litterally everyone and is a big reason why some of my friends stopped reviewing
-
I have friends who don't even know wayfarer exists though... Some of them litterally believed Niantic was the one adding more stuff
-
I did not see your post. Simple, but brilliant. A positive message that do not feel preachy. I think it would give opportunities for players who lives in rural areas to add more stuff too.
-
I feel like reviewing a little should be a requirement before being able to submit. I was 38 when I started voting and I got a good idea of what was acceptable or not. Anyway I have friends who are 38 and they are happy about this. I told them to talk to me before sending stuff
-
Yes, it happened to me a few times and I know many people that stopped reviewing because they thought it was very insulting to be punished by Niantic when they are giving them free time. It doesn't help that I usually get cooldowns after choosing a location or picking the text with no grammar mistakes on edits... it's…

Make sure to tell everyone on your local facebook/discord group that those are accepted and give a link to Niantic's guide. Also do that in additional information
-
They are acceptable. You just need to be lucky about who review your nomination
-
Well. Someone could do that even on the most amazing art pieces so...Anyway. there is a footbridge not used yet as the same spot. I just felt like the path was redundant since it was tons of footbridges.
-
i probably won't try it again, but it is permanent and I wish people would stop making that lie. It's just a lie that it's not permanent and your example is clearly stated to be against Niantic's guide while mine could have been considered. Anyway there is a footbridge on the other side and I tried it and it was refused…
-
I personally wish stairs like this or those in a trails were accepted. Did Niantic made an official statement on this? I tried finding some infos and failed to.
-
There was a photosphere. I was referencing the river that could be confirmed on Satellite views(as in confirmation that it was made in honor of the river). People could easily see that it exists. Rejecting this for not being permanent is just a false and made up rejection reason. I can understand why it might have been…
-
huh. I thought my other topic was just never posted, so since I cannot delete it, I would appreciate if a mod would delete this one and just let other post in the other one.
-
This is not a "graffiti tag" this is a permanent wall made in honor of the St-Charles river made and signed by the artist bird². It is NOT TEMPORARY. If you think it do not fit criteria fine, but stop making up false reasons to reject it. It's not a generic tag. It's the NAME OF THE RIVER and it's PERMANENT AND HAS BEEN…
-
It's not temporary, it's litterally permanent and I can give you the adress if you want to validate in real life. I can accept people who think it might not meet criteria, but making up false reasons like "it's not permanent' is not good.
-
I definitely think their should be a place where you can appeal questionable rejections...
-
I accept them in park too. If wooden footbridges are accepted in trails, can someone gives a single reason why they should not be accepted in parks?
-
In my personal opinion, they should as anything to raise awareness of those even if it's just a waypoint would be amazing as it could save lives. But I am not sure what's the official rules are.
-
I fail to see how we should treat "waysigns" or trail markers differently. Niantic stated we only need to have the name of the trail on them.
-
It's hard in Canada, at least in Québec. Try to add this in additional informations to educate bad reviewers. Since a lot of them are in the wood. A lot are not visible in google maps as well. I would suggest downloading the Street Views app and uploading a photosphere Here's Niantic's official statement on it Trailheads,…
-
I used to believe they were not accepted. I am sorry for it. Niantic does a terrible job at explaining to new users that stuff in society buildings/appartment complex, wooden footbridges and trail markers are legit to new players. Add a link to their official guideline in additional information. (Don't write it with a…
