The nature reserve might not be temporary, but those signs aren't going to last long which is why you are getting those rejections. Is the nature reserve marked on google maps? If you walk into the nature reserve is there any other signage or some form of hide/structure you could use as a placemarker instead?
-
It's impossible to tell who ordered these, and looking for consistency of styleon a trail is fruitless. On a one mile stretch of the Saxon Shore Way I could show you six different styles of marker, all genuine but installed in different years. Is there a footpath on the OS map for the area?

If you post your full submission in Nomination Improvement with text and supporting photos I'm sure someone will give advice on how to best present the square.
-
It means that nomination appeals are not accepted in this subforum.
-
Yes - but this subforum is not for nomination appeals. Criteria Clarification or Nomination Improvement are better places.
-
They're not - that's what confused me. Nomination improvement or Criteria Clarification are probably better places.
-
That looks like the initial review, rather than an appeal. I think you might be in the wrong forum. Have you tried appealing the nomination yet?
-
I can't immediately find the clarification, but wayspots do not have to be accessible to everyone. So long as they can be accessed on foot by some people then they're valid.
-
Have you got Niantic's appeal rejection you can post here?
-
True - this submission appears to be a lake rather than a park, but if the lake is part of a formal registered park the submitter might be in with a shout, by submitting it as a park rather than a lake. Locally we have the annoying situation that only very large parks are listed on the LGA web site, with smaller parks not…

You need an actual permanent physical, tangible, identifiable object or placemarker for an area
-
Thanks - yes I hadn't thought of non-UK reviewers. It's the longest national path in England, following the entire coast, so most UK reviewers are likely to be familiar with it. The private bit just signifies the quay road hasn't been adopted by the local council - everyone can still freely use the path like any Public…

It appears to be a lake - a natural feature and therefore not eligible Il semble être un lac - une caractéristique naturelle et donc non éligible
-
Thank you - I misunderstood your earlier post
-
It looks in a valid position to me, but if you are going to resubmit I would try and get a clearer supporting photo clearly showing the sidewalk.
-
They're still valid - generally they are only installed where the path changes direction or at junctions - you tend to get clusters and then none for a long stretch

Was this tile made here: https://www.gozi.nl/winkel/afscheidtegels/stoeptegel-groep-8e/ I can't see why it was voted through in the first place - they're not artworks, they're not memorials to famous people. I can't see how on earth it got into the game initially, regardless of who removed it.
-
"we put them just where are not an waypoint already" - So they are made specifically to create a waypoint?
-
My only issue with genuine tiles, rather than the sticker copies is were they deliberately placed to create a wayspot, which is surely abuse?

"Does not seem to be a great place of exploration, place for exercise, or place to be social. The object is mass-produced, generic, or not visually unique or interesting." Generic benches clearly fall under the rejection criteria - a bench made out of logs on a remote trail might pass, but generic benches are clearly…

If it's a single family residence (which it looks like) then it's ineligible. Can you provide evidence that i's not?
-
Yes it's already in the database - there apears to be four wayspots in that cell : Centenerary Lakes Opening Plaque, Centenerary Lakes (noticeboard) and Cairns Botanical Garden Sign as well as the crab. Pokemon only allows one pokestop per cell, so presumably one of these is already a pokestop.
-
It probably already exists in the database but can't show in Pokemon because there's another pokestop in the cell. If you're happy to share the coordinates I'm sure someone can take a look.
-
I think the W's are supposed to be the tread of a boot. Never seen one like it, but could be a trail marker of some sort for a local group.
-
Pergolas are eligible, but that doesn't mean they'll always be approved - if they're not large enough for a few people to socialize under then they're unlkely to be voted through.
-
The terrace appears to be about 3 metres wide - it doesn't look dangerously narrow. Obviously in reality few players are going to venture on to the terrace, because you can stand in range easily, but it looks safely reachable for those that have permission to use the terrace. If the residents don't want it there I'm pretty…

England here - 3 published 2 under review (no date of submission logic). Tried someone elses and it worked okay - can't say it adds much to the game though.

Flats/Apartments - non PRP so perfectly valid
-
I'm of the view that it's a pretty small percentage of the approximately 27 million buildings in England, and how common something is shouldn't really influence our judgement - people will explore towns and cities looking at listed buildings. If the national body with expertise in this area considers a building of special…

Agreed - this appears to be a perfectly valid wayspot but would likely be removed if an apartment ownder directy requested it.
