Bump: The POI has been removed from PGO but is still in Ingress

I agree with these observations. When simply comparing the before and after photos I almost immediately noticed the angles don't match up, the trees in the background don't align or match, and the distance between the pathway and the brush seem much further in the after photo.

Not a single location in the entire continent of Africa? I would like to see Africa actually included for once instead of just being in the headings. I find it incredibly disappointing that it is overlooked by Niantic.

I have also noticed that a wayspot I submitted in the middle of nowhere (no other POI for several kilometers) which was accepted a week ago has not appeared on the intel map. I'm not sure if it has sync'd with PoGo either as it's a 300km drive to get there.

I'm inclined to disagree that it's an Ingress player versus Pokemon Go player thing. Regardless of the game/platform, some people just enjoy it when there is order and things are up to date. I am one of those people and it is the same reason I'm a Local Guide on Google as well.
