I saw a couple of these stops at a local park here in Australia today and was wondering what they were. One happened to be the same point of interest that I added a while ago, will be interesting to see how they handle duplicates.

You don't submit additional photos in game as supporting evidence for your invalid portal report. Just submit the invalid portal report on its own and wait for a response. If the response is to reject your report then you can make an appeal post in the "Invalid Wayspot Appeals" section of the wayfarer forums. In your…

@NeanBean0412-PGO it is a known issue that is being looked at
-
When I report something for removal in game I find it good practice to take a couple of quick pictures while I am there to use in an appeal later if needed. I find that unless the reason for the report can be verified very quickly Niantic will tend to reject it once they get around to looking at the report.

No you can't remove nominations from your contributions list
-
The thing that is explained pretty badly during the nomination process is that you are not nominating a pokestop, portal, etc. You are actually nominating a point of interest to become a wayspot in the Lightship database. Each game has its own rules about which wayspots from the Lightship database it uses and how they are…

@Melurra-PGO there is a plugin script available to bring back the interactive map.
-
Wayspot nominations that you are presented to review come from a very large area around where you actively play and the home plus bonus locations you have set. You will only get a small number of nominations to review from your immediate surroundings to reduce the affect of local bias. Google translated to portuguese As…
-
When a nomination is approved it is added to the Lightship database as a wayspot. From this database each game draws a subset of wayspots to use based on their own specific gameboard requirements. @Rchan11-PGO in wayfarer there is no minimum distance between wayspots.

The daily sync in Ingress hasn't occurred for the last few days. Possibly due to the anomaly event in Munich over the weekend. I think the backlog is starting to be processed now.
-
Your review pool is made up of nominations based on where you last played a Niantic game and the home plus bonus location you can set. This area is quite large to help ensure most of the world has decent reviewer coverage. Unfortunately this means that in places like Europe and Asia you are going to get nominations to…
-
The area from which you get nominations to review is not restricted by country borders. You will just have to do your best with translation tools such as google translate.
-
The photo sync bug in Ingress is a long standing issue that still hasn't been resolved yet.
-
Did you double check the coordinates on google maps? The coordinates listed in your videos come up as in the middle of the trail rather than on edge.
-
@kacadi89-PGO the POI already exists in the database, trying to nominate it again will just have your submission marked as a duplicate. Also deliberately misplacing a nomination just so that it appears in one particular game is considered abuse.

@ElgambinoJoyBoy-PGO login to wayfarer and go to the help page. You will see the orange chat icon in the bottom right.
-
@patsufredo-PGO some portals just tend to be maliously targeted quite a lot, this could help ease the admin burden of having to fix them all the time.

As I mentioned in your other post the "Masjid Alma Az-Said Sign" wayspot will not appear in game for Ingress or Pogo. It is too close to an existing wayspot and is also in an occupied cell.
-
All wayspots are stored in the Lightship database, from there each game decides on what wayspots to use and how to treat them based on their own rules. So you can have a wayspot that appears in all the games, just some of them or none at all.
-
The wayspot is already pretty much in the correct location. As the approval email states not all accepted nominations will appear in game.
-
Your approved nomination is too close to the existing "Masjid Alma Az-Said" wayspot to be brought online in Ingress.
-
There is no set timeframe for a response from Niantic as far as I know. Tagging a mod may help but no idea if that will actually speed up a response. On your contributions page only 2 of the rejection reasons will be displayed at anytime. The 2 that get chosen to be displayed are not fixed.
-
@Taghira-PGO as the sentence before the "up to 48 hours" timeframe states not all accepted nominations will appear in all games. Your approved nomination has been added to the Lightship database and each game makes its own determination on whether to use it based on their own gameboard rules. I assume that the nearby "Te…

@ClassicBoonie-PGO just to let you know that with how the forums are setup, this approval requirement is triggered when you have an embeded image in your post.

The photo in the Canley Vale that is stuck is located in Parkes Reserve next to the Orphan School Creek border with Carramar. Those that have been resolved in Canley Vale for me were close the the train station as well, on either side of the tracks.

Adding to @HaramDingo-ING experience above, the following suburbs in NSW Australia are where I have a number of additional photo submissions that have been awaiting determination for greater than 3 months. Fairfield - since March/April 2021 Canley Vale - since September 2021 Guildford West - since October 2021 Fairfield…

I always first try to go with a clear photo of the location and surrounding area, this combined with links to available supporting information and detailed commentary can be all you need in certain cases. This works best when there are other clear identifiable features nearby that you can reference to. Photospheres are a…

Not all wayspots will show up in pogo as a stop or gym, each game title makes its own decision about what wayspots to use and how they are treated. A location can also be geolocked at the request of the property owner or stakeholder where the wayspot is located.
