These dont really matter. Ive been in a lot of gyms and as long as your courteous when filming yourself no one really cares. Plus that is about inside and most gyms you mention are chains and wouldnt be eligible.

Just wait it out. As long as it isnt in a blocked area it should spawn. Niantic generally does a sync every year to relocate pokemon spawns and it should add some to your location

Have you tried explaining how it meets the criteria vs just blanket statement of “It meets all criteria”. As it clearly would not meet for exercise. Socialization and exploration maybe, but idk how it would meet that if you dont explain it to some people

Tbh if pokemon go had the same amount of portals as ingress does I believe some areas would honestly almost be un playable. When the spawns kick in if theres a lot of stops/gyms around those spawns it makes it a lot harder just to select each pokemon. So I can definitely see that becoming a problem if this was to ever…

I would agree. At work theres always plaques in basically every hangar you have dedicated to someone or something. Just something to keep an eye on as well.

You’ll never find a playground in a restricted area of a base. Or basically any kind of sports court. You basically have to think “is this area part of what the military might do for work” and it can answer your question. I dont see how a gym should be judged in the same way a restaurant would be judged. Most gyms I see are unique to each one other than obvious chains. But yet they get rejected for being “other rejection” which basically means generic business rejection. How ever a gym is generally never generic. There all unique in there…

Just because you have to sign up for lessons or a season doesnt make something or somewhere a bad nomination. Many golf courses even private courses are eligible wayspots. Even things in closed communities are valid, should we all of a sudden discount those because you need money to enter? The people who do go to the dance…

Maybe mention what types of classes are offered, if they do any competitions or host competitions in the community. Obviously not a generic business and does fit the criteria. Some people just love to hate the exercise criteria it seems

I think your main problem is its really just a gate. By doing so you should be able to give enough information that is backed by the criteria to explain why it should be accepted. In my eyes they still both help the community in the same way. One gives books, one gives food donations to those who may not afford it. I can see value to community in both and both and it could show how there culture in the community is caring. Thats why im wondering lol
