I am sure Mr. Map will enjoy a good night's sleep, knowing so many people caring about his integrity have his back.
-
Fully agree with your notions! What might potentially help, is to liberate Pokestop submission (other games as well) from all the "integrity of the map" mindset, that seems to be prevalent here - instead of "integrity of the games" (as in making them fun to play). Maybe use all the super-duper ivory-tower Waypoints as gym…
-
In fact it is the only relevant discussion - you know why, because Niantic decided to subject Players of Go to people who care about "the integrity of the map" (whatever that may be useful for, if it does not benefit the games, which is the case now) - and without telling them. See the three clips below: Niantic talk about…

And you do find spinning a few single stops every five minutes fun and worthwhile? Not to mention that you will not get many balls out of doing so - and especially in the beginning, this means not catching a lot of mons because they will not stay in easily. Also, no community - which is not imaginary but has happened in a…
-
You seem to forget that in order to catch those imaginary mons you need items from stops (or buying them at hilarious prices in the shop) - without a sufficient number of stops around you will be sitting dry in no time. You also seem to forget that you need gyms to get most worthwhile Mons, more often than not hidden…
-
To be honest, I would wish for a sufficient number of stops or whatever they are called in every game - to an extent that does at least enable rewarding and potentially succesful gameplay. Over here many areas have simply dried out over the years, because nothing has changed. No more stops or gyms but more in-person-only…

this issue of post disappearing on here is annoying as can be...
-
The "official" group in the Campfire App is the closest thing to a Pokemon GO forum at this time - it is even half-moderated and has occasional "official" Niantic input.
-
It is a somewhat rural area (like about 95% of my country) - stops are also lacking because of Wayfarer rejections. That is why I am actually curiois to find out, how drying out whole areas is actually supposed to be the way to go.
-
To add to that and give you an example - I currently have a Mon sitting im a gym for mote than 100 days now (without tending to it), another one way over 50 days in the gym im the next town - simply because the lack of stops has killed off any interest there. And this - to be honest - can not be in the interest of anyone…
-
As a player, I enjoy every new stop (in Pokemon) especially in the area I grew up in, because there simply are not nearly enough, which in turn takes out any interest in the game, which in turn means there is no local community, which in turn takes out the opportunity of getting any use out of the game there (in-person…

How does that recent Garbage hurt you? How does anyone benefit from rejecting these?
-
I fully support that - still nobody seems to care about doing just that at Niantic.
-
I guess you will mostly get negative comments, because in here people often don't seem to take into account what more stops mean for people actually playing the games (which seemed to go as far as to reject stops simply because of using game specific terminology).
-
The review-to-upgrade stuff is pretty annoying btw - started reviewing to upgrade the one stuck in the voting only to find out it is not possible to upgrade ones im voting allready...
-
My longest is sitting since May 2021 now.
-
I beg to disagree - in fact quite the opposite; in the rural area I grew up in, everyone just wants more stops and by a fair margin (= at least some stops) täin order to get any fun out of the game and have a chance for a community to form. That said, they could not care less, what these stops are

unintentional duplicate post - sorry, just can not get used to post disappearing...
-
Thank you! That cleared up a few things for me! Much appreciated! There are still those weird things to judge, which are more about grammar knowledge in a foreign language - having learned here that I can simply let them time out, I will resort to that from now on.
-
edit: these were all duplicate image posts now allready covered above (it did indeed take hours to get them through, thanks again for the pointer)
-
It is always easy to talk about something that does not really affect yourself - I will add a map screenshot (hopefully it works via the clip) with added dots for some of the stops to review in the last two days to give you an idea what we are dealing with here (bot exact locations, but a rough distribution of…
-
Once more than 50% of your stops are in multiple different languages, it gets too cumbersome - that is the norm here and that is why I would love to get more precise stops to judge. Out of curiosity, how many do you get?
-
Thanks! I will wait for my previous post (showing a Campfire-map screenshot with markings for stops from all over different countries) to get cleared then.
-
is there any way to succesfully insert an image here? whenver I try, it just does not post anything.
-
You too are missing the point - it is not about the content (which may be written in whatever language used - or even consist of a complete nonsense combination of letters to the utmost possible extent), but a basic mapping of people new stops are allocated to, which could be done by tagging reviewer and stop locations -…

it simply does not work... :(
