The chances of getting an indoor wayspot through wayfarer have always been low. Either retry until it is accepted or just give up and do something else.

Niantic would have to employ a lot more workers if the criteria for rejection and removal were the same. I am from Celle, and the local community here is quite amused that someone actually took our memorial stone and made a wayspot in a different, though somewhat matching city. It's one of the few smart fakes I've seen. Unfortunately they stole the picture directly from Wikipedia which should be evidence enough for removal.

This portal has been deleted. 4 days after it was deleted, an agent I know got an E-Mail saying it was confirmed that the portal should remain in the portal network. Good work, Niantic. 🤦♂️

I'm not asking for privilege, I'm asking for consideration. If the appeal is denied, I will contact the property owner again. It's just more paperwork in the end.

I was asked to post an appeal and here we are. If it stays, it stays. I've put that wayspot there myself in 2019, so I should at least be allowed to ask to remove it now.

Sheer lazyness is also to neglect any research about what might be the correct forum for this complaint. It's certainly not "Invalid Wayspot Appeals".

This forum is not for rejected nominations appeals. It also says that "we will not be overturning this decision" in the e-mail. There is nothing you can do but resubmit if you wish to. From my experience, submitting Fire Departments, closed or not, have an abysmal low chance of getting through, though.

Thank you. There are 10 more cases in the vicinity of the second wayspot mentioned above, that are either fake or have incorrect locations. I will make another post once all of the reports I've made yesterday get denied.
