I've had this one removed at least 3 times, it just keeps coming back. The trail it mentions doesn't even pass there Common street sign High pressure Pipe line. It even says "DANGEROUS" can't be more PRP than this.

Belgium is getting hit hard with these coal poi's as well. Markers for gas lines, random numbers on a street light, poi's in a garden, random street signs... Everything gets accepted now. I used to be some effort in trying to get them removed, but they just keep coming back.

This one is back, but worse. The POI isn't even placed on the street (what you'd expect from a trailmarker) but inside someone's house. Name of the portal: Trailmarker Link to the portal: https://intel.ingress.com/?ll=50.968624,3.997463&z=18&pll=50.968624,3.997463 Google coordinates: 50,9686240, 3,9974630 Please take…

Bumping this to other mods @NianticCasey-ING @NianticAtlas @NianticGiffard My new appeal foto rejected

@NianticVK this fake POI has returned, in exactly the same place.
-
@NianticGiffard the wayspot has already returned after only five days.

Thank you for the feedback, @NianticGiffard . Two of these three illegal wayspots have already returned, the first one is again a trailmarker removed from his real position. The second one is a marker that is not on the route (as explained in my original post). You can find the locations below:…

Take a look at these amazing trails between these four nodes! Nodes are not trail markers and should not be portals/stops. All they do is clutter the system.

and are duplicates.

I checked a third one: also a copy/paste from Wikipedia. Why are they all placed in what looks like a forest? I see no roads leading to these POI. Are they placed there by a local player or will they be moved to other spots through location edits?

Again, if you consider any POI to be "super boring", you might reconsider voting "an easy 5*". I don't need anything, thank you.

Quoting the Wayfarer eligibility criteria: "A note on eligibility: if a Wayspot nomination meets one of the below criteria, that's great! But remember that eligibility alone isn't sufficient to turn a nomination into an accepted Wayspot." If you were to continue reading, you would come across multiple reasons why somebody…

That's not what I said. You will find the exact same POI multiple times over a distance of 200 meters. Not once, but up to six or seven times. This is not a "point of interest", it's excessive abuse of a system, covered under the tiny veil of "it promotes exercise".

These nodes are not part of a trail, they are part of a network. They are closer to a traffic sign than they are to a trail marker. Small towns are now polluted with the same "POI", you can walk 200 metres and have the exact same sign pop up multiple time as a portal/stop. Considering these nodes as worthy POI is being…
