Probably 20m, the amount that an Agent or Trainer can move. (Help desk can move farther, but that could drop links.)

2017-09-27 - entrance to a large park that had opened a month prior - accepted 2017-09-28 - dog park at the above park - rejected. A couple months later, it appeared on the map! My husband had submitted it without telling me. So I did the only reasonable thing. I added my picture to the portal and gave it a thumbs up to…

When you release them, do they go to In Queue? So, yesterday they were In Voting, but today they are demoted to In Queue?
-
I'm beginning to think we'll never have updated criteria. A new team decides they will create up-to-date criteria. They allocate some time, like: a day to go over old documentation, a day to survey this community (and maybe a couple elsewhere) for what we want/need to know, then a couple days to write it all up. One…

Niantic could even do a quick scan before you even hit submit on a nomination. Just looking for the google watermark would catch a lot. I know there's free (open source) code out there to look for ANY watermark. Error the nomination at the source, with a third party picture error, telling them to please take their own…

If it's a duplicate, just upload your picture to the already-existing wayspot. Picture adds are processed a lot faster than new wayspot nominations (or appeals). Presumably, pictures don't need as many voters.

"Storing more upgrades" means we can save more than 10. Formerly, if you had 10 Upgrades Available, your profile would show the ring increase to 99, then reset to 0, without adding to your number saved. This was a BIG deterrant to power reviewers.
-
If I visit NYC, why would I go see that? Especially if I've already seen another one? You'll need to explain to reviewers why it's good to explore.

Three rejection reasons are generated, and used to be given in the rejection emails. Niantic had a redo that changed ALL their emails to have lies and inaccuracies, and dropped rejection reasons. The Contribution Management page can only show two (I think it used to show 3, but also had a redo.) So with the quote you gave,…

I think distance should be based on Wayfarer history. We should have Trusted Wayfarers, who can do more. For example, Niantic might give Trusted benefits at, say 5,000 review agreements (prescedent: half an Ingress onyx medal) and 100 nominations accepted. But inactivity should degrade the rating. So, add requirements like…

My oldest In Voting is from July 2022. I use a lot of upgrades, or I'd have older than that. Yours is so freshly In Voting, it MAY actually be getting votes. If so, the votes are likely split. I'm guessing this LFL is in front of someone's house, which caused half the people to reject as Private Property, but the other…

Wayfarer has so many bugs. EVERY email they send has lies in it. The review screen has SO many bugs. Queueing is plainly broken - it shouldn't take years to get resolution. In the face of all that, fixing the withdraw bug (vs just letting it go thru) is simply not high priority. The consequences are so small in comparison.
-
We used to be able to withdraw nominations In Voting. There's probably a bug for it in the bug forum, but it's buried so deep, it's considered "resolved", lol.

I would agree on the crowded theory if all nominations were in same place and super croweded. It is a mix. some crowded. Some spaced. And one fairly well spaced. Remember that the area used is very large. Where I live, its a rectangle about 30 miles by 60 miles (48k x 97k). I live 30 miles from a big city, and my…

My oldest In Queue was nominated 2021-10-02.

Me too. I think it makes wayspots much more interesting, to see a history of what has been there.
-
It's makes sense that queues go longer and shorter based on number of people reviewing. However, there could be more reviewers in December. More vacations. And not everyone is a member of a big family or has a big schedule. But also, maybe your area has crossed that threshold, so you'll not get quick answers anymore, even…

If a new nomination is marked a duplicate of a wayspot with no picture - the new picture will be added to the existing wayspot. Before PoGo allowed trainers to add pictures, sometimes people would make a new nomination of an existing thing, counting on it to be marked duplicate, so their better picture would be added.
-
I get a ton of obvious 1* and have never gotten the cooldown. I usually click something on the nomination to make double-sure I'm not missing something OR to look for reason to laugh even harder about it. Reviewing wayspots is a hobby, for entertainment. Sometimes the entertainment is: Hey, a dashboard, their dog, they…

Pictures have been hit-or-miss loading to Ingress ever since Wayfarer was split out into the Lightship database - over two years ago. Even photos from duplicate nominations. Someone probably gave any photo on that wayspot a thumbs up in PoGo. That pushes the photo to Ingress. Or, some kind of edit (name, descr, loc) was…

It's been going on so long, it sure seems to be intentional. Maybe Niantic wants us to look at the map first, to form our initial impression. Changing the initial focus to the map was cheaper (developerwise) than moving the map to the top of the page.

From https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help click/tap the circle at the bottom right, to open the help bot. You can report duplicates or other problems there/

Try taking new photos and submitting it again.

The bus stop isn't valid, and I don't think you'll convince reviewers that the art is permanent. We've all seen bus stop art change out at the whim of the bus line.
-
when I make the nomination I insert the photo, the position and the support photo, description etc. the problem is that when I go on wayfarer to check the nomination, I see that the streetview view that allows to check the position in the real world of the stop, is missing, this becomes a major obstacle to the promotion of…

There's a bug, where if some percent of reviewers call something a duplicate, but not quite enough to reject it with duplicate reason... while other reviewers reject it, but not quite enough to reject it (not counting the duplicate votes)... but rejected + duplicate IS enough to reject it... Niantic sends rejection reason…
-
Sorry, but you should give up on them. Niantic has expressly said to reject even things on the fence around the edge of single family property (murals, little free libraries, etc).
-
@Disconnected404-ING Try posting this information here: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/categories/removal-appeals where Niantic actually looks. Give the Intel link of at least one of each kind. They should be able to search the area for duplicates. And they'll know who submitted it.

Forest for sports Why don't we put some PokeStops in areas where people gather, such as forests and parks, where there are trees, playgrounds, and running water. Thank you. The discussion is open. Yes, please do nominate them! I have nominated many. Remember that nominations should be anchored by something made by humans.…

Yes, if a nomination is generic, we are instructed to reject it. See the second sentence at https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/criteria/rejection Does not seem to be a great place of exploration, place for exercise, or place to be social. The object is mass-produced, generic, or not visually unique or interesting.…
