Back when photospheres were possible to make, some people made them along trails where they nominated a marker, then counted the views. Every reviewer probably didn't load the photosphere. Random others might have looked at it (but doubtful if in the middle of nowhere). They usually got 50-70 views as I recall.

By "university", does that mean ages 16 & 17? Might it be a dormitory, or near one? If you hit refresh, does it give you the third rejection reason, and is it "Other Rejection"?

Yes, you can apply however many upgrades you have, in the same day. The ones that are close to each other would go thru "single thread", blocking each other. We're not exactly sure HOW close is TOO close. Several hundred meters? Also, anything near someone else's nomination could have to wait, and go single file.

I like the trail markers - even plain footpaths over the fields and through the yon. It's an awesome system that I want to experience when I visit there.

I haven't seen any British pubs yet. But I know that some nominators seem to think Lightship should include every restaurant. "It exists" is a Yelp requirement, but Lightship wants more. I'm sure everyone here explains how their nominations are stand-out places to explore, socialize, or exercise.

It can be in voting for up to 13 months. Niantic queueing is not FIFO (First In, First Out), in an attempt to keep one person or one region from dominating. It's really gone awry, IMO.

Last time they said anything about it, they showed an example and said that while it was not anchored to the ground (which would have meant it was eligible) - their example had grass worn out around it, showing it was used a lot. So it was eligible too.

Those are from September 27 and after. Niantic probably only prioritized nominations from before the event started. Otherwise, there would be no end, ever.

I don't consider a 3-4 month wait to mean the "queues are almost gone".

Oh - you only got the submitted email? Not the accepted email yet? Allow at least six months after submitting, to see results. That is "working as intended".

Yes it could backfire. No guarantees with any Niantic code - certainly no guarantees with a Niantic bug. You could find yourself having to deal with Niantic Help because when you deleted your Pikman account, your PokemoGo account went away.

Why rub people's noses in the fact that they are having a horrible time getting nominations, and getting credit for them - while other people are both getting them and getting credit?

I think the absence of words speaks pretty loudly. Big cities have had to wait over a year since 2016, while countryside nominations take days. There have been bugs before, where pictures didn't load to Ingress. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again. Apparently there are no internal counters to make sure: <number pictures approved> = <number pictures added to Lightship> = <number pictures uploaded to PokemonGo> = <number pictures added to Ingress>

If you're losing 1 or 2 here and there, it's probably the old timing bug. Say Niantic sends a nominaton to ten reviewers simultaneously.
