Sorry, but you can't appeal rejected nominations, you have it written in rejection mail. It might change in the future, but for now the only thing you can do is to nominate it again. I agree, this was very helpful to see map view and streetview for our nominations in wayfarer. Since it's gone it's more difficult to check if we made our nominations in correct location. I hope it will be back, as it was a very good and needed feature.

There were similiar cases recently, and I think that most of them were pulled out by Niantic to review it by they workes (as Niantic workers need to review some nominations too). These nominations were back after some time, and all came back as reviewed: either rejected or accepted. Maybe your case is the same.
