I think you should post your actual nominations (photo, title, description, supporting photo and statement). Just based on your post, I can imagine some or even all of these rejections to be correct.

First of all, all these sites are perfectly legally accessible to loads of employees and visitors, so unless they meet some other removal criteria, they shouldn't be removed based on accessibility. Also, even if access beyond employees was a requirement (which it is not), as far as I know, both the Pentagon and the White…

Yeah, to me that means that you haven't really understood or internalized the criteria or the review process. People who truly understand something don't need cheat sheets or other aids to report on it.

22 titles, including 6 Grand Slams. Also, just to engage with the original post as well: this is so ridiculous that I would probably never upgrade any of these just to see when (if ever) they will finally be resolved.
-
You yourself provided evidence in your original post that the owner is a business (a champagne house). Please stop making things up.

So... is this Tom Hanks' favourite restaurant? Has Gordon Ramsay said anything about it publicly? If yes, those are definitely not irrelevant and should go into the supporting info. Also, any other information that supports it being notable and/or unique in any way. To me, it looks very much like any other restaurant in…

Yes, people are actually arguing to uphold the long-existing rules that have been confirmed multiple times, including in the last AMA. Go figure.

Agreed, I find it hilarious that the original post received 76 (!) likes, but as far as I can tell, almost all are from accounts with literally zero Forum activity. As if they meant anything. Also, I'm intrigued what the 6 people who disagree with my lates comment exactly have a disagreement with. Do they think this is not…

I think this settles it. Once Niantic gets to this appeal, it should be a no-brainer removal.
-
No idea, but that's also an automatically generated thing that I, as a user, have no influence over. So I don't think it's important at all.
-
That's the location. Most probably it's short for São Paulo.

First of all: this is a Wayfarer forum. Ingress factions are meaningless here and they have nothing to do with eligibility. Second: I find it completely impossible that this place is accessible to only one person. Looking at pictures, only maintenance staff for the building and the garden has to be at least 5 or 6 people,…

Honestly, I'd give up on it. Even though I personally think it's a great nomination, it will probably never pass. Even if Niantic somehow made everyone read and acknowledge the rules about historically important memorials and gravestones being eligible, reviewers would still reject it. I've seen lots of arguments on this…

It must be safely accessible to pedestrians. It doesn't say that it needs to be accessible to everyone all the time, just that it needs a safe way to walk up to on foot. That's it. This has been the rule for as long as I remember and it has been confirmed to be the rule after the recent changes in criteria in the November…

When comparing these numbers, you also have to take into consideration that the "invisible" number (in your case, 1775) includes both disagreements and all your reviews that are still in the system and being voted on. These can take a long time, especially in you get lots of nominations from "slow" areas.

I've never been to Iceland (sadly), but what I can see on street View makes it perfectly clear to me that this has safe pedestrian access. The path next to it has no indication of being a bicycle-only path, it's perfectly consistent with what a footpath should look like. Actually, if you move a bit to the WEst on Street…

I do agree with you and in most cases, your suggestion does help. however, there are instances where rejection reasons actually are so nonsensical that "explaining better" just doesn't work. I've had an art gallery/independent theatre located in an old warehouse rejected for being a private residence. An ornate route…

Based on the road and the satellit view, I'm inclined to say that this is indeed in the yard of the house on the opposite side of the road from the portal location. Still, it would be so much easier to tell if you actually made a picture with the house itself in it...

"it requires a permit as a building worker or officials under all safety measures" This here is the key problem. If there are people (workers, officials, maintenance staff) who are allowed to reach the object legally, it's not eligible for removal. Portals do not have to be accessible to all all the time, limited access is…

For me (Central-Eastern European here), it very clearly looks like an old playground play structure. They were extremely common in my childhood, practically every block of flats had its own. However, today they're not really considered safe and they're actively being removed and replaced with modern playground equipment.…

Just to nitpick: I've successfully nominated trees before. But those were special trees with high cultural significance (hundreds of years old, with well-known legends about them) and they had signs as well. I'm planning to nominate another one once weather gets better: it's an oak tree from the 1936 Berlin Olympics, where…

This is still a great suggestion and I'm all for it IF the category list is properly reviewed and amended. Currently there are still tons of common and eligible things that are completely missing from the list. Also, I find @HaramDingo-ING's suggestions very interesting and thoughtful. I hope Niantic takes notes.

On paper, this sounds good. But in reality, this could lead to a new type of abuse - mass-reporting anything that might have a chance of being removed. Unfortunately we can see on this forum that false removals do happen (I've seen many successful appeals for incorrect removals), even without an explicit incentive to…

I suggest you read up on how Wayfarer and nominations work first. Neither Niantic nor people on this forum - who are scattered around the world - are able to give you portals without being at your location. I think your best course of action is to find a community near you with people who are able to nominate and try to…

Because it shouldn't be necessary to register an account for a separate game I have no intention to ever play just to allow me to correctly use an in-game feature (nomination).
-
Probably the other person upgraded their nomination.
-
Anothet thing to consider is that there are probably a large amount of alt accounts used here. I find it plausible that the Wayfarer privileges of accounts originally used to do this actually have been revoked, and the abusers simply switched to new(ly purchased) accounts to carry on this operation.

I disagree. For me, "Pink Ribbon Statue" is the perfect title, with "Erected to raise awareness for breast cancer" as the description. "Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Ribbon Statue" is completely unnecessarily long. You don't need to put all information in the title - there's a description as well. That being said, I…

If I remember correctly, Niantic has said that they are planning to re-review certain rejections, beginning with "Generic businesses". If they follow through, I think "live animal" should be one of the priority rejection reasons to review. In my experience, it is extremely rare to encounter a submission where it's a…

You have to report it in-game first. This forum is for appealing rejected reports.
