You have to report it in-game first. This forum is for appealing rejected reports.

It's probably closer than 20 metres to an existing Wayspot, in which case it doesn't make it to the database. Try to submit another hole that's further from the existing wayspot, and it will be fine.

I agree with everything you wrote. One small amendment, though: you can treat 3 stars as a baseline, but don't go below it if you want the nomination to pass. 1 or 2 stars in any category is essentially a rejection, or at least that's the consensus on the topic.
-
Alright, let's cut this short. @apozira-PGO: if you have evidence that this is a multi-family home (multiple postboxes etc), make a removal appeal like you've been told a few comments ago. That should settle it.
-
I agree with @yoptman-ING. It gets approved, someone (who is probably just as, if not more, annoyed as you) is instantly reporting it as PRP and it's removed within 48 hours, because it is a clear-cut case each time. Stop nominating something that's clearly not eligible.

First of all: a playground should be a single PoI. Individual toys should be marked as duplicate after the first PoI for the playground has been accepted. I think that items that don't belong to the playground itself, but represent a separate function, like football/basketball courts and maybe table tennis tables, can be…

If the title and description is accurate and there's no potential for confusion (like in your "Church" example, if there's no other church nearby), I don't deduct any points. I don't see this as a creative writing assignment or something, if it's correct, it's correct.
-
First of all, why didn't you nominate the whole playground instead of this single toy? It would be a much better nomination. Second: I agree that this looks eligible, and rejecting it is a mistake. But if you stop reviewing, that will only mean that there will be one less person in the review process of other nominations…

What should be language specific? If you mean that reviewers should only get submissions in their own language, then I disagree. I'm perfectly capable of reviewing submissions in just about any language as long as Google Translate can translate it to English. Cultural differences can be a much bigger problem, but then…
-
Seriously, use a translation tool. There are multiple ones that are pretty good at translating to and from English, even if the source/target language is small and/or obscure. I live in Hungary. I get nominations in German, Slovak, Slovene, Croatian, Serbian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Czech and Polish, with an occasional…

I would like go have this feature because I like to submit stuff while I'm on a hike. There are lots of very cool stuff in small villages and in the mountains, but sometimes cell service is just not good enough and the whole process fails.

From the November AMA: "Q: How does “publicly accessible” apply to locations that have limited access, like members-only clubs, gated communities, time-restricted areas? A: Just like with the definition of private residential property, this guideline hasn’t changed. These locations would still be eligible, including…

When you edit a post that was a reply to someone, it goes into moderation and disappears until it's approved, which can take upwards of a day in my experience.

What? Places of worship have been considered perfect 5* nominations for as long as I remember. Besides, are you trying to suggest that the only acceptable locations to play the game are where there's literally no way you could disturb anyone? Because that would narrow it doen to empty fields in the middle of nowhere. But…
-
In addition to what @Hydreg-ING said: if someone who previously only played PoGo downloaded Ingress and grinded all the way to level 10 just to be able to submit things, they didn't do it to submit their cat or the neighbour's lawn ornament. Those are submissions from people who don't know the criteria and/or don't care…

AS someone who has studied architecture to a certain extent, I can see why you consider this a great nomination. However, you have to understand that the vast majority of reviewers never studied architecture and can't judge the artistic merit of a random building. What makes it even harder to get accepted is the layout…

"All lower case is a 1* every time" What? Why? That makes no sense. There are plenty of wayspots that can be named perfectly correctly with all lower case letters. And even if it's an orthographic error, it's a very minor one that doesn't hinder the understanding of the text in any way whatsoever. Please don't make up your…

Whether it's okay to park at the PoI is completely irrelevant. The criteria is to have safe pedestrian access, which in this case is obviously there.

Sierra Leone. I got reviews from Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia. But I haven't received one from there in a month, so i guess I got through all of them.
-
Yeah, there are lots of places like this. People think that it's bad when their nominations don't get into voting for months unless they upgrade, but there are places where nominations don't get approved even after being in voting for years. My bonus location is in West Africa since November, and I reviewed lots of…
-
Just out of curiosity: how long have the ones in voting been there?
-
So... your nominations are still in queue/voting or were they rejected? If they're not processed yet, start reviewing, get upgrades and that will make it a lot faster. If they're rejected, you should post them, maybe we can help you with some advice. Either way, Niantic won't look into your nominations to help them get…
-
I have never ever had a nomination go into voting immediately, not even when they were in the middle of nowhere in a priority area. It always takes at least a couple of hours. So there's a very low chance that you are completely unable to edit it at all. Also, I'm pretty sure @Lechu1730-PGO suggested that you do the…

Yes. A tennis court complex I nominated last year. The rejection reasons were "The nomination does not appear to be historically or culturally significant, Nomination does not meet acceptance criteria." (Both of which are nonsense, of course, and I'm renominating it as soon as I get to it.)
-
Do you have actual proof that you were sent a rejection email for an accepted submission? This is the first that I hear about this and this would be pretty huge.
-
Since these are just outside Seattle, I'd imagine there are a lot of submissions in this S2 cell. You'll have to upgrade them or wait a looong time. I also live in a large and populous metro area and I have a nomination in voting (not just in queue) since last July.
-
I saw this post and decided to track edit reviews this morning. I managed to get 44 reviews (before getting a cooldown for no apparent reason), and there were 12 edits between them. I wouldn't say that's too much - if anything, I'd consider it less than usual. Maybe it's a local thing? Some group decided to submit a…

That has nothing to do with safe access, though. If the business doesn't want a wayspot, they can ask to have it removed. But being on the premises of a business doesn't change the accessibility of a PoI at all.
-
First of all: most of your examples are still in voting, so they were most probably rejected. I agree that garbage submissions like these are annoying but at least they're a quick and easy agreement. I don't see why that's worth quitting over. Second: I agree that submitting should be tied to some sort of education or…

Normally I'm pretty strict when it comes to safe access, but this seema very clearly safely accessible to me. That dirt road looks perfectly safe for pedestrians and the hill the PoI stands on is not a true obstacle either. I mean, if we consider objects on actual mountaintops safely accessible, as well as stuff on narrow…
