Can you make it with the app then save it and upload it from a PC? I used to make a photosphere everytime I nominated something but haven't tried it since the app stopped working. Gotta get more into how to upload 360s now, I have no clue.

Has anyone tried to install the Street View app from an apk file? there must be one somewhere. If that doesn't work, iirc you can still upload 360º photos to google from another app that can make them, is it right?

If the app sends wayspot edits to the normal queue system I wonder why after all this time they don't do the same with nominations made through the app, just put them in the queue system for people to review them. Hopefully it's because of the holidays and we'll get news about the app soon.

Oh you're right, I just checked and it is there. Guess I just had to be patient, I got used to them showing right after I made the submission. I keep wondering if these will still make it to the games after this "update" they gave us about the app.

Apparently no more nominations can be made through the app, I tried making one just now and it didnt show up in the map as provisional wayspot. I wonder what's gonna happen with those that were sent before they cut us from the app and are still as provisional wayspot , hopefully they'll accept them too.

Why would you make an app named "Niantic Wayfarer" that is not intended for common people using the Wayfarer community and system? Why not naming it Lightship AR or Lightship Devs or Lightship-something and make it more focused on the dev thing? You would've avoided having to make this 'sorry, this wasn't for you' note.

Mine have not been accepted or rejected, neither did I get an email for those. I guess they are not as quick as wayspot submissions.

My time participating in these forums tells me that everyone at Niantic has a different criteria of what should or shouldn't be in the game. Some accept an appeal, others don't, some accept a removal appeal only for another to come and restore it. Some remove a wayspot because of the "criteria" and others do not remove…

No, there are no wayspots that close to it. As I said, my guess is that they overlapped (the restored and the new one) and when one of them got removed the other didn't show up, I've seen that happen before, but it was possible to force the wayspot to show on Ingress cause the one behind showed up in pokemon go.

How do I activate the VPS on a wayspot that already has 10 approved scans? Does Niantic select which ones get activated? Or do I have to make a submission to get it activated?
