Not sure how true it is but apparently XM on the Ingress map has an effect on the spawns in Pokémon Go. There's an article about it here: XM appears more densely, usually, around portals in Ingress, so if XM does indeed affect the PoGo spawn concentrations, then Ingress portals would affect PoGo. Again, not sure if it's…

Third party photo would be the best rejection reason by the sounds of it.
-
It got approved!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 Kinda low key annoyed by it though because I appealed it via my Ingress account and subbed it on PoGo, and it just got approved through my PoGo (My ingress and PoGo are on separate log-ins and support won't let me have them both on the same log-in which is frustrating 🙃🙃🙃🙃)

I've tried with just calling it Gypsey Race Park and Welcome to The Gypsey Race Park before, but been rejected or duped (with a sign that has a similar design style but not identical). I think I'm onto attempt 12 or 13 with it at this point - local enough for me to get more photos anyway if needs be but it has had some odd…

I've tried several different photos, titles, etc. My issue isn't the rejections, it's the conflicting rejection reasons. Email says one thing, wayfarer says two other things.
-
It depends on the sign for me. If it's something like this one below, then it can be argued that due to the artisticness of them, they encourage exploration but if they're the usual ones seen in the UK, where they're just a metal sign board, usually a white background and black letting spelling out the place name, then no.…

Since when could we appeal?!

I had a portal approved on 5th October that still hasn't appeared despite being outside of 20m to the closest portals. I think it was reviewed by Nia, and of course, it's an already occupied cell, so can't even do the thumbs up trick.
-
There's a sync issue at the moment, presumably tied in with other wayspots showing up that shouldn't have appeared in any games. All I can suggest is just try be patient and your missing wayspots should sync across to PoGo eventually.
-
K12, under Niantic's criteria, includes scout huts, nurseries, etc. Not just schools.
-
I have two that should have sync'd in last night. Nothing has appeared yet in PoGo but they're on Ingress, and HPWU.
-
I'm sorry the other stuff happened to you. However, I think your expectations were a little high and unrealistic. A wayspot within 400m of everyone's house is a perfect example of unrealistic expectations for Wayfarer. Expecting others to submit for you as well is too high of an expectation. Not everyone will have the same…

I never said stencil art isn't criteria. However, your past actions make you untrustworthy and telling us about how it's legitimate because you painted it make the area more colourful doesn't help your cause. Other graffiti wayspots doesn't mean that they're automatically acceptable. Especially if they're done without the…
-
I mean, it's just common sense that if you're going to paint over something, you gain permission first because otherwise it's graffiti and vandalism, which is illegal. No one is saying you can't learn from past mistakes but since you already gave us reason to distrust, we're hardly going to pat you on the back and tell you…

Well, since you've already admitted you pulled a fast one with the Rayquaza, I think it's fair to say that you would be pulling a fast one with this one. Especially since you've admitted that you painted it yourself. Do you have permission to paint that junction box from the company that owns it? As I said in my original…

Reposting my comment from another thread: I submitted one a week or so ago. It disappeared from my nominations list and reappeared once approved. The portal never showed up in Ingress despite being out of the 20m radius of the two closest portals, and it's in an already occupied cell on PoGo. Not seen it in HPWU either.…

Just for reference, here's the post I made about it last time it was in system. Looks to be a slightly different main photo. Whatever action was taken previously hasn't deterred this individual from trying again with it.

I'm assuming that there isn't a fix in the works for the number of us that had our Wayfarer stats reset then?
-
Has there been an update about this yet? My OPR medal on Ingress keeps ticking up but my stats on my Wayfarer profile don't match up since they got reset.
-
Agreed. I think they've done something like that with an area in London but the UK reviewers that have been at it longer than me will know more about that since it happened in the OPR days apparently
-
Cheers for the additional info

Rejection reason when reviewing for Private Residential Property still clearly states single family residences or private farmlands.
-
If it's submitted as just a hotel with nothing to make it stand out, no. If the hotel has historic or cultural value, which would encourage exploration, or has something about it that encourages socialisation, such as a public bar or events that are open to the public, then yes.

I was under the impression the NCN used minor roads, alongside shared paths, disused railways, canal town paths, and traffic claimed routes (in towns/cities) to ensure safety? I definitely don't agree with all the markers suddenly being eligible as wayspots though. I'd prefer it if the ones that are accepted are the ones…
-
The "what is it?" list isn't a a guide to what's eligible, it's purely for categorisation purposes.
-
Just because a house wall can touched from the street doesn't make it public property. It's still part of that private dwelling. Private companies are a different matter.
-
That looks like a deliberate attempt at getting a wayspot reachable from someone's home. I'd either reject as temporary or as abuse if I was you.
-
First image does look like the marker shouldn't be there but can't say for certain without further information or evidence that it's intended to be there. Second one just looks like stone or marble seating, but again, without further information, I can't say for certain. I'm curious if the rejections are intentionally…
