I fail to see what criteria a graveyard/cemetery meets, especially one that is currently active for burials. The guidelines do state to avoid them as well, hence why I was asking about places of worship within an active cemetery. Your comments about Ingress players are untrue, unneeded, and completely irrelevant to the…

Incredibly rare. I've only seen one myself in person and that's in my town
-
Dude. It's not a blessing box. Blessing boxes are taller and usually have transparent windows. However, I would like to hear @NianticCasey-ING's thoughts on this one.
-
That totes is reviewer abuse though. Gabriel/Dice said all pubs and bars are to be accepted!
-
Shhhhhhh, don't mention of them or someone is gonna gonna out with a bunch of percentages and numbers involving however many postboxes are wayspots to back up their argument
-
If it's exclusively for cycling, then it's not safe on foot. I swear you're literally looking for all my comments now to deliberately start arguments with me.
-
Also, "novels for descriptions" as you call them do port well to the games. This is one description I put an edit request in for because the original description was blank.

Examples of street art: Not street art:
-
Thank you! This is precisely what I've been trying to say
-
@Gendgi @Senmana-ING Thank you!
-
I'm not sure how a Pikachu is significant to the local community except for a handful of Pokemon players that DO NOT represent the community, ergo, it is not locally significant. Local significance would be more if it related to a cultural event for the community or a piece of that community's history. Like the signs I…
-
My apologies and thank you for the clarification!
-
But that's the thing, I'm not. You're busy arguing for the sake of arguing now.
-
Forums are for discussion, and exchanging ideas. No point in the forums if we can't discuss or exchange ideas. Once again, you're generalising, making out all ingress players are the bad guys, which does nothing but add fuel to the fire of the Ingress v PoGo drama. We're not expecting people to know how to review…
-
It's not street art though, and even if it was, it's of poor quality anyway and wouldn't get through with good reviewers.
-
I'm both actually - it doesn't matter that my user shows I logged in via Ingress. I submit through both, but no, we don't all have the all time in the world, so please, stop generalising.
-
No, your original comment, Gabriel, didn't make sense at all. Wayfarer doesn't even give recommendations for what stars you should give now. That was OPR you're thinking of.
-
The forums are here for everyone to put their opinions, thoughts, and so on across.
-
In regards to overall rating, chain pubs/bars do deserve a 1* unless there's something about that particular establishment that sticks out. As an example, Wetherspoons in the UK fare well because each if their pubs have relevance to the town/city they're in because the establishment's name is something thay links it to…
-
That statement makes absolutely no sense. If I'm unsure about a submission, I skip it or I log off Wayfarer for a couple of hours and go back to reviewing other submissions instead. If someone subs a pub or bar just as "local bar" or "watering hole", it gets a 1* - generic business - because they've not told me anything…
-
@AgentB0ss-ING You hit the nail on the head there. I've posted two examples of signs I've subbed that been approved further up in the thread, because they're accessible, and uniquely decorative. I just don't get why Dice/Gabriel is cherry picking what @NianticCasey-ING is saying in order to justify his arguments
-
Meaning graffiti, which isn't acceptable. I've seen proper street murals, subbed a few myself, and this is definitely not one. It's a clear attempt at cheating the system to get a couchie.
-
Yup. Like I said, it's gonna restrict us a lot now, especially in villages where the post office is definitely in a shop or café. I was lucky that I found a standalone post office a couple of weeks ago in a village that hadn't been subbed yet. I get that they probably don't want a wayspot in every shop/business that…
-
I'm not disputing that, just saying that reviewers that saw it might have been erring on the side of caution
-
Niantic did bring out a clarification, sometime within the last 6 months I think, that wayspots shouldn't be within 40 metres of any private residential property. Presumably because of the court case, so I would imagine reviewers were being cautious in this case.
-
This particular nomination isn't a mural though, you can tell by the quality of the artistry
-
This isn't a blessing box. Blessing boxes are filled with essentials such as food, hygiene products, etc, and are labelled as such. This is a memory box, which is allegedly filled with activities to aid people afflicted with dementia. Two separate things all together
-
He didn't skip a whole thread though. If anything, it's you that is appearing to be skipping whole threads, as you're cherry picking or misinterpreting whatever is said to suit your argument at the time
-
Yeah, I'm a tad suspicious over the "#1" bit. Definitely sounds like there might be potential dupes incoming. Agreed about the Memory Walk as a trail sounding good too.
-
I think that he's confused or just doesn't understand the criteria properly, hence the misinformation and six-degrees-of-separation arguments. I could, of course, be completely wrong.
