If it's inside the single-family residential property, even the outer wall could be considered part of this. See the Criteria Challenge for that clarification. Also, the Private property rejection generally calls for single-family residences. If this was a multi-family apartment or condo and the mural is in a shared use…

If you're talking about the challenges, the rewards are usually mentioned in the initial announcement.

So long as the 2 wayspots are located on different L17s according to the coordinates, they would appear in PoGO now. It used to have an additional 20m rule back when Lightship was not the database. Some shenanigans do break the inclusion rules sometimes, abusive manipulations and spooky syncs. Speaking as a player, I find…

The player's incentive is to add more objects to the game they play (you and most players) or the enjoyment of submitting/reviewing stuff, the system's incentive is to add objects to their database with less cost incurred. From that announcement, could be assumed that the Wayfarer team isn't the decision maker on what…

Why is it that the R in PRP always get left out when it comes to private location discussions? @Scoobydoo57-PGO would recommend looking at your nominations from a reviewer unfamiliar with the street POV. Use the supporting to direct them like how you direct people going to that location. This is also a good read.

Pivot location(s) Great move to pivot to new locations after slowdowns. It was unprecedented this time that the reviews exceeded and it was moved to previous locations, top complaint was to move to the other new options which may be implemented next time. patsufredo's suggestion on opening the region seems a better choice,…

This is the generalized response in a previous thread. There's also a passing comment in #11 below about 'generic' but relevant stuff. Seeing multiple boring stuff does get annoying and the common reply is that some eligible objects are mass-produced, generic, or not visually interesting by their nature (play structures,…

Spruce Forest: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=52.5541,-113.63679 Grasslands: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=52.554538,-113.644154 "Not historically or culturally significant" is a bug that is observed to appear for insufficient duplicate decisions in previous instances. Supporting text is not helpful at all to verify it,…

Previous AMAs were removed from their usual places and the search function in this forum is atrocious. New Wayfarers can't readily see those, even when it was on the Help tab it had low visibility. The problem is that the clarification pages are not consolidated yet.

The second and last point under criteria clarifications @MamaCorn399-PGO . My reasoning with limited-access is that the eligible POI caters to a targeted audience otherwise there isn't a need for those. And the "public" in "publicly accessible" refers to that audience, including workers and staff during off/break hours.…

From the linked thread: While your accepted nomination is guaranteed to show up in our database, all other Niantic products (such as Pokémon GO, Ingress, etc..) choose which and how to include accepted Wayspots from the database. Check out gohub for PoGO inclusion rules, specific game rules are outside the Wayfarer process.

You put a gym in the middle of a lake This could be removed for pedestrian access. The criteria may have been different when it was put into the database or bad reviewing, which might explain your bad rejection reason if so. Is that the only rejection reason showing even when you refresh the Contributions tab? And are you…

Did you specify in the supporting text about the purple banner gate? Any links behind the mural project? The street view for that road is also inaccessible for me, only the main road and photospheres open up. It is good on your part to add the banner but that part of the street did not reflect any labels on Google. Maybe a…

You are permitted to put the pin on a location for a POI at the premises of the bank. How the bank itself meets eligibility is debatable, most leaning towards not. If you happen to have business to go there, social participation will ensue but it's not always the place to meet-up on and hang around or a point of urban…

Thanks! I'll keep this in mind for the next unli swap events. Country/Territory-wide bonus location does hinder the abuse that targets particular areas too. Although it may take a lot of time to implement this for all countries. Also another con: setting the bonus in blackhole areas during the review challenge opened more…

This concurs my earlier points. Murals can be eligible but aren't acceptable once a rejection criterion (being in the operational areas/OES) is triggered. Also true that a mural can be mundane, then it would be ineligible. "Eligible" and "acceptable" being separately defined from what I understand. One point is that a…

This feature is one of the great additions for the challenges, I hope it continues! Thanks @NianticTintino-ING and the Ambos!

I think you are taking 'place' too literally. A random street or facility isn't a great place to explore normally. Give it a mural then it presents a point of interest to explore to. Whether or not a large sum of people have access isn't a valid rejection. The audience doesn't always have to be directed to tourists and…

Health care staff don’t want random people roaming the hallways playing games. An example of limited-access site, whether or not it obstructs services is still the only clincher in terms of location for those cases (+ pedestrian access). The ones who could explore are extremely limited to specific audiences in extremely…

"Not historically or culturally relevant" is assumed to be a bug when insufficient duplicate reviews are met before reaching an agreement decision. There are aesthetically similar POIs that could be seen in the review map, could be that some marked this as duplicate of those incorrectly. This information could be added in…

"What is it?" tags aren't the rules nor a list of acceptable objects, consider rereading the three sets of criteria https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/criteria/acceptance https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/criteria/rejection https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/criteria/eligibility

Depends on your location, whether you upgraded them, reviewer activity, etc. Asking this in a local group or someone close to the location would give more accurate estimates. Might want to read this too:

Reference the old title in a description edit. Something like: "<new name> Martial Arts Dojo, formerly <old name> Martial Arts Dojo, was ..."

Have you tried to see it from https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/nominations ?

Survey markers were discussed last year here: Not only that but your entire description is lifted from the MASCOT page.

The pin can be moved at that distance. The description has also provided a bit of context to where the statue is. Formerly a leprosy hospital, now a co-working space. @Usbekenrunner-PGO can we see the supporting text also? Might help to mention the current use of the building.

Out of curiosity, where did you pin the bonus location to get Antarctica and the Malvinas Islands?
