  • I get your submissions. I accepted your cycling trail. It’s clearly a named trail. But because it’s not a wooden post it’s apparently mass produced.
  • I had some iconic architecture on a building rejected on appeal 3 times. First it’s “just carving with no significance”. Second appeal, “the location has no access”. - it’s covered by a footpath and is a multiple occupant residence, wondering how those who live there gain access?? 3rd appeal ACCEPTED 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ I added a…
  • There’s only one way to find out ! ….. said Harry Hill lol
  • My nephew tells me he had a trail marker rejected today. Apparently a mass produced abject and didn’t meet criteria. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  • That’s the only reason I’m getting for every rejection. When one of my nominations says the title on the artwork itself and can clearly be read in the photo I took. So the description is most certainly relevant and most certainly not abusive.
  • That’s interesting because I’ve had appeal decisions overturned when they first started doing them, yet recently they kept telling me that an appeal is final and you can’t overturn it. Telling me to resubmit it. They need to make their minds up.
  • I’ve currently got this. I’m been at Great rating since I began then suddenly down to about to Fair. For no apparent reason. I have not changed the way I review. Except that I haven’t done many recently, I have only seen rubbish to reject and playgrounds to accept. There is clearly some fakes and coal being accepted.
  • I’d take a better picture maybe focus on the goal or something that stands out but I have also taken similar pictures of an entire court/pitch and it’s always been accepted.
  • That’s what I’ve had on all mine. When the title is relevant and certainly not offensive
  • My rating has recently been stuck on “fair” when I’ve always reviewed pretty much the same for years. So what’s going on there ?? I’ve stopped reviewing for a good while now and it hasn’t changed. Wonder how much coal I rejected got accepted then 🤔
  • Yes I’ve read this. But where is the evidence that object you took a picture of is indeed a trail marker. I’ve actually found a picture of your “trail marker” with the person describing it as a village sign. I don’t see any logos or something that looks like a trail marker. Just because you call it a trail marker doesn’t…
  • But is that an actual trail marker because I don’t think that trail has any. Just a map of landmarks to follow. I often get a lot of awful nominations from Bromley. I’m sure you’ve seen them too. That looks like a sign marking the boundary of Bromley North Village. Temporary is just a random rejection reason someone chose.
  • RAS in France. Basically code for their group to accept my fake waypoint using this 3rd party image. Or if you’re not in my group just accept my fake waypoint.
  • I've had trail markers rejected just because they are stickers. Yet myself and many others have had the same accepted previously. People seem to think because it’s a sticker it’s temporary. Yet this particular trail was produced on a budget and used already existing posts and infrastructure to put the markers on. I’ve also…
  • That’s not a watermark. It’s just a camera stamp. Watermarks have logos etc identifying the copyright owner. Like this.
  • Is there a place to see the routes you’ve submitted??
  • graffiti is an art form/style in itself and are different to murals. So if it’s substantial and has taken the artist (although might not be a local recognised artist) some substantial time to complete and it’s not just a “tag” which is what people often associate with graffiti then they should be accepted as art. That’s…
  • so far the ones I have reported haven’t returned. However there is a couple in that area Niantics won’t remove because I can’t get enough evidence. Even though it is clearly a low quality edited image. Most of them are blindly obvious so proves many reviewers don’t care about it and just accept anything.
  • Because you didn’t clean your room
  • Just keep trying lol.
  • I’ve never understood why it’s “Niantics Voting” and not not “Niantics Review” if they are all knowledgeable about the criteria their reviews should be a yes or no click. Surly it doesn’t go around the room of Niantics reviewers using the same system we use. What’s the need. I take less than a minute to decide if a…
  • Share the full nomination. Did you get the location wrong perhaps. I’ve given up on caring about which reason they reject because most of the time they are wrong. If you think it’s truly acceptable just submit it again and hopefully you’ll get different reviewers who will take a different view of the nomination, or…
  • I got an edit result back from 2021 the other day. It was rejected even though the correct location and the item could be clearly seen on maps. Worth the wait.
  • Quick answer. No. Never. Some of the best waypoints are this and I’ve done many and in one cemetery the community group who maintains it are aware and very happy with my work. Oh and a chap gives tours of the cemetery explaining who some of the famous noteworthy people are. So again no. Don’t like them as waypoints?? Don’t…
  • Yet more fakes. I don’t get it. Surly there is some real stuff to submit along this pier. But obviously they like to fake everything. I mean is this supposed to be acceptable?? Supporting photo doesn’t seem to even have pedestrian access. But it will probably get blindly accepted just like the dozens more you can see in…
  • Live animals isn’t even part of the “photo rejection criteria” so that is completely made up. It’s part of the “waypoint criteria”. But that rejection reason is utter nonsense.
  • Seen during a review of another waypoint. Think that was a fake too. The building appears to be there but has a third party photo. The picture on a wall is yet another photoshopped picture and doesn’t exist. This person must be getting around making these fake pictures and waypoints
  • I’d love to visit the area one day because I’m pretty sure there is more.
  • Anddd another one. Fake pictures and doesn’t exist. Same as the other 15 nearby it most probably.
