I get your submissions. I accepted your cycling trail. It’s clearly a named trail. But because it’s not a wooden post it’s apparently mass produced.

My nephew tells me he had a trail marker rejected today. Apparently a mass produced abject and didn’t meet criteria. 🤷🏻♂️

That’s the only reason I’m getting for every rejection. When one of my nominations says the title on the artwork itself and can clearly be read in the photo I took. So the description is most certainly relevant and most certainly not abusive.

That’s interesting because I’ve had appeal decisions overturned when they first started doing them, yet recently they kept telling me that an appeal is final and you can’t overturn it. Telling me to resubmit it. They need to make their minds up.

I’ve currently got this. I’m been at Great rating since I began then suddenly down to about to Fair. For no apparent reason. I have not changed the way I review. Except that I haven’t done many recently, I have only seen rubbish to reject and playgrounds to accept. There is clearly some fakes and coal being accepted.

I’d take a better picture maybe focus on the goal or something that stands out but I have also taken similar pictures of an entire court/pitch and it’s always been accepted.

My rating has recently been stuck on “fair” when I’ve always reviewed pretty much the same for years. So what’s going on there ?? I’ve stopped reviewing for a good while now and it hasn’t changed. Wonder how much coal I rejected got accepted then 🤔

Yes I’ve read this. But where is the evidence that object you took a picture of is indeed a trail marker. I’ve actually found a picture of your “trail marker” with the person describing it as a village sign. I don’t see any logos or something that looks like a trail marker. But is that an actual trail marker because I don’t think that trail has any. Just a map of landmarks to follow. I often get a lot of awful nominations from Bromley. I’m sure you’ve seen them too. That looks like a sign marking the boundary of Bromley North Village. Temporary is just a random rejection reason someone chose.

That’s not a watermark. It’s just a camera stamp. Watermarks have logos etc identifying the copyright owner. Like this.

so far the ones I have reported haven’t returned. However there is a couple in that area Niantics won’t remove because I can’t get enough evidence. Even though it is clearly a low quality edited image. Most of them are blindly obvious so proves many reviewers don’t care about it and just accept anything.

I got an edit result back from 2021 the other day. It was rejected even though the correct location and the item could be clearly seen on maps. Worth the wait.

Quick answer. No. Never. Some of the best waypoints are this and I’ve done many and in one cemetery the community group who maintains it are aware and very happy with my work. Live animals isn’t even part of the “photo rejection criteria” so that is completely made up. It’s part of the “waypoint criteria”. But that rejection reason is utter nonsense.

Seen during a review of another waypoint. Think that was a fake too. The building appears to be there but has a third party photo. The picture on a wall is yet another photoshopped picture and doesn’t exist. This person must be getting around making these fake pictures and waypoints
