Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games (and may take up to 48 hours to appear) As mentioned in the email you got, not all accepted nominations will appear in all games. Each game has it’s own inclusion rules, so it didn’t meet Pokémon GO’s in this case.

Proximity of the nearest Wayspot doesn’t matter either. No need to mention that to reviewers

As this says “our team” it has been rejected by the machine learning, and not an actual reviewer. You would need to share the nomination from your Contributions page so that others can see, and help out as to why.

Of course not, that would be a dick move. It says it was raised in April 2023, so I think a year is plenty of time for response and to resolved. I’ll check again in April.

If they are already correctly placed it can be considered Wayfarer abuse to move them just to change the map of a game.

This is a forum for Wayfarer, not Pokémon GO, so wanted to clarify that Pokémon GO specific issues that have no Wayfarer involvement should not be raised here.

Do they have any Ingress jobs going? 🤔

You would need to ask this in your Pokémon GO app as those are rules applied to that game and not Wayfarer.

Nintendo don’t review Wayspots, so no point mentioning them.

To back up what @HankWolfman-PGO says, Ingress submitters don’t even get the list of categories to choose from for submitting.

You’re correct it’s still on Ingress. However, it is as @cyndiepooh-ING suggests. It has been removed from the database. Ingress syncs (adding/removing/updating Wayspots) later than Pokémon GO and may have missed the cut off point to sync this removal.
