You’re correct. Wayspots do need to be fixed and permanent. It could be ignorance (in that the submitter and/or reviewers don’t know they’re temporary) and abuse (they do know, but want a Wayspot and are ignoring the rules). If you can share the location, along with data that they’re temporary, and tag NianticAaron (put an…

I’ve got one hanging around from June. A walk between two parks, which I thought would be a relatively easy approval. Then my others are all August.

A regular nomination can take anywhere from a few days to 2+ years to reach a decision. You’re best asking any locals to see what the average time is in your area. Appeals are currently being looked at from March 2023, so that should give you an idea.
-
Those nominations aren’t very old at all. As said, you can either wait out your usual review time, or earn an Upgrade by reviewing if you want a quicker decision.
-
50m away could be in a whole other cell. In London, if you had nominations on one side of the Meridian Line, they’d go through within a decent timescale. The other side they’d take 2 years so it could be that.

I don’t know the area, so I don’t know how long the nominations from there would usually take to reach a decision. Translate says it’s a City Hall, which could certainly be eligible, but I can’t say for sure without more information. As noted, if you want a quicker decision, review and earn an Upgrade. If you think your…

As said, depending on your area, it could be a long wait. It can be 2 years in some locations. So if you want a quicker decision, do some reviews, earn an Upgrade and apply it to your nomination.
-
Yes. That’s how you can get an Upgrade, by reviewing and getting agreements. Some things can linger In Queue/In Voting depending on your area. Here’s two of my oldest
-
You can review and get agreements to earn an Upgrade. Apply that to your nomination and it’ll go out to a wider “net” of reviewers, which will allow for quicker decision time than usual.

It’s possible to nominate Wayspots anywhere. Whether they are eligible and acceptable is another matter. Can you show examples of the Wayspots you’ve submitted?

Also, the ROUTE feature, which I believe the system is being built by the Wayfarer team and not the PGO team, is not motivating them to get out there Routes are a separate product to Wayfarer. It’s all to do with the Pokémon GO team (and I suspect a sub-set within that) as articles say; “Pokémon Go‘s senior producer Chad…

This has now been raised in the relevant section so probably worth adding any comments there and Niantic staff will review it in time.
-
Niantic have to review the removals and only remove in certain circumstances. Faction/game bias don’t play in to removals. What was the Wayspot? You can appeal its removal over here - https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/categories/removal-appeals Provide all the information required and someone from Niantic will…

The official Pokémon forums as noted.

I didn’t remember to save the others but I had a run of Elizabeth II postboxes being labelled as something else.

There was a comment here from NianticTintino recently. How did you report them? You could try the Wayfarer Help chat or this form - https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/21-wayfarer/faq/2190-reporting-abuse-in-wayfarer/?l=en&p=web

The claim is that it should. However it also claims that “unusual” Pokémon can spawn. I think my Route Pokémon are usually Lillipup or Bidoof.

Maybe it’ll follow Ingress’ Missions? 100 for Gold, 200 for Platinum?
-
You could watch the new Futurama so that you get the upcoming Futurama x Wayfarer GIFs?
-
Did you read this and your email? Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games (and may take up to 48 hours to appear).
-
Submit all the (eligible) things!

Has the photo now changed?
-
There are now some Requirements and Best Practices listed here @The26thDoctor-PGO and @Elijustrying-ING and others.

Apply an Upgrade. Some areas can take 2 years or so

Wrong forum.

Nope. All I can do with my rejections is see why and then choose to delete them
