Thank you for this. I was thinking I may just let this one go but I also did some more investigating and found some information on the town’s website and state register. I’ll definitely take your suggestions and try to renominate when I have better weather and better lighting.

Ok so just a bad nomination. It’s conservation land. Around here, conservation land is land owned by the public for public use. Things like old farms, or open tracts of land that could be turned into housing developments, are purchased by the towns or conservation societies to maintain the land in its undeveloped state.…
