Just look at the Mission Creator map. There were already accepted edits across the country when I checked last week
-
I'd like a competition for Most Misinterpreted Niantic Comment
-
Mangers aren't really that scary, I hear Jesus was born in one
-
I had a 22-hour acceptance on a nomination with that same email. It was a picnic shelter in a park
-
These edits are removing all of the location identifiers from the description as well
-
The edits I really hate are the ones that change "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in [Town Name]" to "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints"
-
@Gendgi-PGO these edits are spelling out the whole name in the title, not just LDS The exact copy/pasted title and descriptions are: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Where the community comes to talk of Christ, rejoice in Christ, and preach of Christ. Visitors are always welcome.
-
Please post screenshots of your nominations if you want better help
-
What do you mean, I'm pretty sure Mario himself is on the internal review team
-
I've seen them call themselves PotCoJCoLDS before
-
This is absolutely something coordinated, and I'm really curious who's behind it. They're really submitting edits across the country. I'm reviewing them here in Washington. I've heard of people seeing them in Oregon and Georgia. If you look on the Mission Creator map you can see that these copy/paste edits have already…

Or the third option, a soulless robot who hates nature

Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?
-
"Increasingly Terrible?" Wayfarer has always been this terrible. Some of us still love it anyway though
-
@NianticAaron here is a separate bug report where I listed several Wayspots that had this issue: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/52254/cant-add-photo-to-existing-nomination#latest
-
What NianticAaron is trying to say without explicitly saying it, is that if you re-use the same title and description multiple times despite rejections, the AI might flag it as spam and immediately reject it, which is likely what happened here
-
This is what the error message looks like in Ingress.
-
The specific Wayspots I can't add photos to are: Chiawana Park Monument Bear Mural Richland Public Library
-
Myself and @SerAmanda-PGO have had this issue on multiple different Wayspots before. It seems to only affect specific Wayspots, since any photo I add to a certain Wayspot gets this error. They're all very old Wayspots (>10 years old), but that seems to be the only common factor. It happens in both PoGO and Ingress, and on…

That's the Niantic logo, not the Wayfarer logo. It just means that your nomination is being reviewed by Niantic instead of normal reviewers. This can be a good thing or a bad thing, and it can be caused by several different factors. That's the short answer
-
Because of forum censorship, I can only conclude that your intended title is "Love Niantic." While I don't necessarily agree with that statement, it's refreshing to see a positive attitude here
-
I just happened to revisit this stop today! I got it approved a year and a half ago. It's pretty rare to find historical plaques unsubbed, and in an open cell even.
-
Compared to Trollfarer? No. Compared to my mom? Yes. All a matter of perspective. And as others have said, it's more about quality over quantity
-
I've had a very similar idea floating in my head for a long time. Have non-stops be visible on the map, but allow them to be toggled on and off for ease of play. They don't drop any items, but you can receive a gift/postcard every 5 minutes. This preserves the exploration aspect of the Wayspots without affecting game…
-
I had the same experience with a nearby Wayspot. The photo is obviously a screenshot from Google Street View, yet the Help Chat refused to remove it.
-
As you know, sometimes one Wayfinder has 29 different accounts. This is probably what @NianticAaron meant
-
These weren't photo additions. This person submitted the same Wayspot nomination dozens of times, and each time reviewers marked it as a duplicate, the photo got added to the Wayspot. That's how all the identical photos got there
-
It seems like this would be a very logical use for ML. It should easily be able to detect exact duplicate submissions and remove them from the system. Instead it's auto-rejecting churches and local landmarks
-
This one was initially rejected by ML. I resubmitted, placed it on hold a few days, released it, and it was accepted on the first try
-
Emily has now rejected 15 of my nominations. These include: A church A recycled art piece A fountain A historic site Several trail markers And another fountain All of these were later ACCEPTED by reviewers, which involved me having to use an exploit to get past Niantic's filter. It doesn't feel right to have to cheat the…
