I totally agree that the targets should not be POI. But an archery range has plenty of safe places to be. It's not a free-for-all of people **** at random. It is a place to gather and practice a skill. I think a range deserves a POI the same as a golf course deserves one. I would have been really upset if asking for a…

And showing that they spoof. How interesting that they are so righteously indignant about encouraging people to travel to this place with so much historic value, yet they can't be bothered to travel there themselves.
-
A transformer location falls under "power plant" and should be rejected for Obstructing Emergency Services.
-
Sorry, but "people go there" does not make something eligible. People also go to Walmart and the grocery store. Unless you can provide some kind of proof that people are drawn to this place for something only it can provide, this just isn't going to pass. It's a sad looking market. I doubt it actually has historical value.…

Sorry, that doesn't help me find it.
-
I can't find this place on Google maps

A reminder. Community reward tiers are based on reviews that resolve in the challenge time frame. You personally only have to do 50 reviews to be included in this pool. But obviously, we all need to hit it hard and early to achieve the higher tiers for this one. Individual reward tiers are based on Spain nominations…

Because I am an ambassador and very active here on the forum, I have seen this kind of complaint over and over and over and over. I estimate that 85% of the time when we ask people to show us the full submission for what they say was "wrongly rejected," it turns out that they made some error or did not provide sufficient…

I really hate to be rude, but I am going on record that this is the one of the worst decisions Niantic has ever made. It is decisions like this that make me ask myself, "Why am I putting so much work and energy into a game from a developer that makes such collossially bad decisions?" Every day I come closer to the answer…

I am declaring that this should have been rejected as a fake. Since I have no proof otherwise, that's all I can conclude.
-
Like.... The Coca-Cola Company The Walt Disney Company Apple Inc. I could go on, but it seems like it would take all day to list out the companies that name themselves simply.
-
No one can say whether or not this should be approved until we see the ENTIRE submission. The longer @Kek0ma-PGO takes to show us the submission, the more suspicious I get that they were trying to falsify something about this playground. If this is in Germany, I know that they don't have Streetview. I know that many…

Please choose the "portion" carefully.

I don't think what @RedHotRutabaga-PGO wrote was bad advice. They gave their opinion and even stated it as opinion. I happen to agree with them that this is not a strong candidate but I gave some questions to consider or research. If you could fill in any details along the lines of my questions, your "case" for this would…

100 reviews is not a lot, I could see maybe a Wayfarer bandana for that or maybe gloves. Like maybe with each number of reviews you earn a new item in the Wayfarer Explorer outfit. They do that for GBL - why not for people who actually contribute to the games?
-
Do you have ideas for cheap swag related to Ingress? I have a discord server for my state that just had its one year anniversary. I invited people to hang out at a local coffee shop to do reviews and build up that community. I had Pokemon stickers and temporary tattoos but I could not think of any cheap Ingress stuff to…

Right. But you are repeating "reasoning" that has just been supplied by the community. The life guard "rule" has never actually been stated by Niantic employees. When enough people in the WF community repeat it, others think it is "the law." I'm just clarifying that life guards have never been part of the official…

The reality is that what you are submitting here is stained glass. Is there a history of stained glass being used in residential architecture in Barcelona? When was this building built? Were the stained glass windows original to the building? Were they added later? Are the flowers actually related to something locally…
-
I'm sorry but this is just such a leap of logic. We allow fishing piers and other docks. Those don't ever have lifeguards on duty. People can fall off of those. Ever been hit in the head by a baseball? That can cause a huge injury. People can step off sidewalks and into traffic. There are so many ways people can get hurt…

Yes, you have to submit it as a brand new submission (resubmit). It goes to the back of the queue.
-
My first was one of a series of statues my city put up near a concert venue. They're obelisks with musical instruments at the top. There was one on the corner of some land that hadn't been developed. Since it was kinda out of the way, the original Ingress nominators hadn't bothered with it. But I wanted it in PGO since I…

@Cowyn2016-PGO If you want POI to show up in Pokémon GO but you don't understand S2 cells, you need to stop nominating completely and figure that out. Niantic won't tell you this, but it is pointless to submit for PGO without understanding S2 cells.
-
Also, The White House is a POI. That place has some decent security and limited access.
-
While the POI can be behind a gate or fence, the main image should still show the entire thing you're nominating. I would reject this because the subject of this photo is a fence. Fences are eligible.
-
Your naming doesn't help. When I nominate things in apartment complexes that look similar, I like to use the building number that they are closest to in the title. "Building 4000 Gazebo" "Gazebo Building 7000" those names distinguish the location better than Gazebo 1 and Gazebo 2. I can see these clearly on satellite but…

Without having a photo that shows the bench in relation to the waterfall, this is going to be almost impossible to get approved. I would approve it as a scenic "overlook" if I could verify that sitting on the bench allowed you to look at the waterfall. But I don't think that is the case here. I think the waterfall is…

I will admit that I have intentionally "scooped" a POI that I saw during review. As you can see from the multiple threads about it, many people don't know that where you place the pin for the POI makes a difference on whether or not it will show up in each game. There have been times when I'm reviewing and see that someone…

"Getting past their insane security" is not what Niantic had in mind when they said "as long as some people can access it." In your example, the people who can access it are the members of the exclusive club and employees. Niantic does not endorse trespassing. Technically, I don't have the authority to speak for them, but…

Multi-accounting IS a possible response to this. How can you have a conversation without acknowledging the routes that are *possible*? But just acknowledging that something is possible shouldn't be seen as an endorsement. It's a conversation technique to outline the extremes and point out the ideas that have been rejected…

That is technically correct. Using tympanum may be a bit overkill because even when I worked in the industry it wasn't a term I ever heard used. Also I don't remember the description character limit. You may be close to going over that, or have gone over it. Be prepared to cull some words.
