You can submit multiple POI in a row, you just have to pay attention and move the map. A lot of submitters still don't realize that they *can* move the map around.

Ambassadors don't have any influence on how the games use POI. This is absolutely not within our ability. I see my role to assist with rural communities as helping them identify things that can be nominated. It's about education. It also about me doing what I can, when possible, to actually go to the rural areas around me…

None of those options. It's pretty disingenuous to leave out a selection for keeping things the way they are.
-
Fire departments are not eligible. They block emergency services. Please take some time to review the help pages on Wayfarer - don't miss any of the sections.
-
I agree that the fact there are kids parties here is fine, but for all the reviewers who don't know how to use critical judgment, it's probably best not to add those details to the nomination.

I think people need to remember that only a couple of these games are wholly owned by Niantic. The other games that use the Lightship database (Wayfarer) are partnerships between Niantic and some other brand. Everything that goes into those shared games has to be agreed upon by *all* the brands being represented. TBH, I…

What a cool place! Go inside to nominate this. In your description, please include that they sell goodies that can typically only be found in England.
-
Why do you have standards related to schools but not near emergency rooms or fire stations? It's such a double standard. Either adhere to the *very minimal* rules around places that are not eligible or don't engage with Wayfarer at all.

I am subscribed to your channel. We've had some good conversations there. I saw this video last week. My gut reaction was that I disagreed with your assessment of the POI blocking emergency services. But I decided that it wasn't worth talking about that. I figured I would let Niantic decide. If I recall correctly, the POI…

Number 2 simply isn't eligible. Not a place to be social, exercise, or explore. Calling the bench an overlook is a bit if a stretch, I think. Your own photo makes it seem like the bench overlooks railroad tracks, rather than a river. Either way, both of these were rejected by ML. ML has gotten really good at recognizing…

Oh, Poland.

I still don't think you've answered the criteria it fits. If you don't know, then how are reviewers supposed to know? This being a place you walk by does not make it eligible.

But some feedback on chapels at hospitals... I work at a hospital in the US. Our Chapel has a sign up that cell phones should not be used inside. It's the one place people go when they are truly in distress over the situation of their loved ones. So, while the chapel doesn't interfere with emergency services, I really lean…

Why would you call it a bar if it doesn't serve alcohol? Words matter.
-
They could never program a system where nominations were held hostage by someone putting it on hold. Abusers would have a field day with that.
-
You tell us. How does it meet one of the following criteria: A great place to socialize A great place to explore A great place to exercise

@NianticAaron please close this thread since there is another one that has been responded to

I absolutely agree that there can be significant culture around a barber shop in the African American community - same goes for AA beauty salons where women might spend hours getting treatments or braids done. So let's talk about this. First, there is the rule of "show, don't tell." I'm just gonna copy the first paragraph…

If you aren't receiving a reason for your rejection, then your nominations are being denied by Machine Learning. Please feel free to log in to your contributions page, take screenshots of what you submitted, including the title, photo, description, location map, second photo, and supplemental information. Then you can post…

Hello and welcome. You seem to have an interest in Wayfarer and are thinking about how it works. Unfortunately, you're basing this on some not quite right information. But we are here to help! Ingress does not use 100% of all Wayspots. Ingress has a 20 m rule. If a POI is closer than 20 m to another, Ingress won't ingest…

Since it's sonic, if Hosette tries to use it, you'll hear it.

Wayfarer is incredibly useful, especially when you have the knowledge and tools to understand it. If you don't have those, it can't be massively frustrating.

Now that it's been officially announced, i feel free to say that I'm going to truly, truly miss Cohort 1. But y'all have no idea how much work they've put in. These people deserve a break. They have families and lives to get back to.

The reasons weren't picked by mistake, what they were trying to tell you is that Niantic has *still* not fixed their system. They changed the names of the attributes you use to judge a nomination, but on the other end when we receive the feedback, we still see the old terms. So when we thumbs down on "Permanent and…

BTW, I'm left-handed!

Sing it, sister!

The app is not meant for you to use. They announced with the last AMA that they will be sunsetting the app in the near future.

I don't see anything particularly noteworthy about this burial. Who were these men, other than WWII vets? WWII was the largest war in history, so almost every town has burials of WWII vets. I have nominated individual graves, but they've been for people who had true local significance - one at a state level, the other was…

Honestly, there may be nothing you can do about this one. Reviewers need to be able to read the sign to confirm it is what you claim it to be. But this sign looks impossible to read. Reviewers might think you've put a fake sign in the ground with "worn out" writing to get a POI. I'd consider contacting the organization…
