Hi! What is the difference between this pool and an apartment/condominium community’s pool that makes it eligible but those ineligible? Why not just make all community pools eligible again, including those in apartment/condominium communities?

Is it still In Queue or has it entered voting? My understanding is if it’s still In Queue, you can turn off the automatic upgrade setting and then once you earn and upgrade, you can apply the upgrade to that nomination. If it is already In Voting, I think the only way to upgrade it now is to have the automatic upgrades on…

You only get points towards recon badge while you are in good or great status. The only way to increase your rating though is to keep reviewing so if you want to make progress on your badge, you aren’t wasting your time.

I am undecided. If a portal in ingress disappeared for a season, would it come back still fully deployed on or neutral? If some of the main anchors came back neutral, a lot of ingress players would not like that. I do think a challenge with getting new agents to play ingress are permanent bafs and this suggestion would…

I think the idea is that the density rules in each game would stay the same so if there are no extra non-pogo poi, the only possible changes would be which pois are gyms that season. Then if there were extra poi, they could possibly come live in pogo for a season.

Definitely thought this was the one actual stated purpose of Ambassadors, to beta test new features.

Especially since you say it was removed a few years ago and you just learned how to appeal, it was probably removed during the pogo craze when it was first released.

This is normally the case when the business owner complains specifically about Pokémon Go players so Niantic has to remove it from pogo to appease the complaint but will leave it in the other games.

There was that recent conversation regarding crediting an artist in the description with an “@name/handle” and Niantic advised it was not allowed. Maybe that is where people are getting that from.

I don’t know much French so correct me if I’m wrong but it looks like this nomination has entered voting. A nomination cannot be edited once it enters voting.

The post sounds like it is supposed to be written by the ambassadors, I do kind of wish they could have posted it. Maybe that’s not allowed though.

I am curious what made the ambassadors choose this, Incentivizing Wayfarer, as a goal? Are they seeing long turnaround times in their areas and they are looking to incentivize more reviewers to help? Are there too many eligible things in their area to submit that it will take them forever to submit them all themselves and…

I have seen a few other messages that give a little more info but the original example posted in this thread leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully they’ll take this one out of rotation and use the options that give more information.

Pretty bothered my this answer: Why can’t we withdraw “in voting” nominations? Again, we don’t disagree with you. This has always been in our backlog and it’s something we haven’t gotten around to. How can it have always been in your backlog if it was always an active, working feature up until recently?

I am slightly suspicious of this post because of today’s date… but if it is real, Niantic stated they sent out additional invites when people did not respond in a timely manner and have announced the 11 Ambassadors that were chosen. I’m not sure if you can still participate at this time.

The appeal I submitted the first day is now showing in Niantic Voting so I am hopeful they will be going FIFO from now on.

Maybe with the announcement of Niantic correcting the location of 15k wayspots, people will be more motivated to submit everything they find in case one of their main wayspots gets moved and disappears from their game of choice.

Maybe Niantic communicated with the ambassadors and had them plant the questions… I would like to see an update on the ambassador program from Niantic. Mostly general information on what we can expect from them and when they will get started.

To me, the photo looks like it was taken from a website or Google maps and then submitted. This is not allowed which is why you received the “Third Party Photo” rejection reason.
