In an update from Niantic, they did mention showing all nearby portals to pogo submitters during submission but if the main database is going to be different than ingress, this definitely needs to be offered to ingress players as well. I would much prefer an actual map like intel though :)

@NianticDanbocat is there a chance you could look into this Hallelujah Mountains nomination? I believe this bug report got a little lost during @NianticTintino’s on boarding and the changes with the Wayfarer 4.0 release. There is evidence of myself and other Wayfinders reviewing this nomination and it is still showing In…

There is this bug report: https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/21046/approved-portals-not-showing-on-map-no-key-in-inventory#latest

I cannot check in game because it was a vacation nomination but it is not showing on intel yet.

Here Giffard confirmed a submission suddenly missing from your nominations list means it was pulled to be reviewed internally by Niantic. It recently happened to me when I submitted a nomination on 08/25, it disappeared 08/26, and it reappeared approved on 08/30. Pretty quick turnaround time!

This recently happened to me. I submitted on 08/25, it disappeared from my list on 08/26, and reappeared accepted on 08/30. This was a faster turnaround time than anything else in the area.

I reviewed one of these and actually didn’t reject it. It’s one of the better examples of a “picnic area” I have seen as it has a distinction from the rest of the area that is seen on the satellite. The challenge is where they are located, if these were in a park they would be much easier to approve in my opinion. With…

It's not to deter or stop people from making bad POIs. I think reviewers are absolutely meant to deter or stop people from making bad POIs. Is that not the exact point of reviewing and being able to reject things? If we weren’t meant to deter or stop people from making bad POIs, why wouldn’t Niantic have us stop reviewing…

Here is Niantic’s post announcing the nomination suspension. It sounded like they would be back today but I haven’t heard of pogo nominations returning for anyone yet. The Wayfarer reviewing page changes happened when the nomination suspension started.
-
I would just like to know if all of the new aspects of Wayfarer are intended changes or if any of them are bugs that are being worked on. Was it intended for us to not see already accepted pois on the satellite map? Etc.

When I am on vacation and find something I want to nominate, I will open IITC to check the location and see if it is too close to any existing wayspots. If there is room for it, I will take a couple pictures, then find a close shady spot to pick my favorite photos and submit via Ingress. I usually submit with placeholder…

Where can I find this feature? I would have reviewed more during the Russian event if I didn’t have to copy/paste translate the description and supporting text.
-
Echoing what @Gendgi-PGO said, I purely use Wayfarer on my mobile device and would often look at the street view on my nominations to see what reviewers see or check my photosphere was showing.
-
I can assure you, you are not the only reviewer giving 1* to these benches or generic community signs.
-
Welcome! Happy to have you and good luck in your new role!
-
Don’t like that!
-
I mainly use Ingress now too so it was hard to find one but I got it! You have to click on the picture itself so I think each picture would have the name of the person who added it and it doesn’t seem to reflect team colors.
-
Sounds temporary to me if it’s a painted board that can be moved.
-
You can see pogo names on pogo pois now. If it was submitted with a pogo account of course.
-
Yesterday would have been the first sync after it was announced that nominations are being temporarily suspended for back end updates. It’s possible these back end changes could affect sync for new pois too.
-
Levels on this Wayfarer forum? I don’t think they particularly mean much other than the more stars, the more active the person is in posting on the forum.
-
Are you sure you have selected a rating in every category? This happens to be sometimes with the automatic scroll I accidentally miss a question but if I see the submit button is not available, I go back up and sure enough something got missed.
-
I think it would be helpful to include a little blurb of how the process works. For example, these submissions are reviewed by some of your gaming peers, they are not suggestions sent directly to Niantic where they then look around for a place to make a stop. The title, description, and primary photo you submit will be…

I hope Giffard didn’t leave but I have definitely noticed the lack of Niantic presence on this forum lately. The bug report page is cluttered with too many threads for the same bug and need to be condensed.
-
I don’t think it would be a good poi. I don’t see how it’s a good place to exercise, explore, or socialize.
-
24 hour cool downs are usually a result of reviewing too fast. A “honey pot” is a nomination that Niantic pre-reviewed, and failing it means you did not review it the way Niantic did. They are usually obvious reviews.
-
Oops, I said m.a.k.e. o.u.t., quite risqué.

Parks need a sign to anchor the poi, without a sign it’s just grass and sidewalk. I see there is a small sign on the ground in your supplemental photo but can’t quite **** what it says. If it says Harmony Park, you should focus more on the for your primary photo.
