Back again. Haven't found much else to add, but you can also kind of infer this from the Wayfarer site. Under the help section and rating nominations You will be asked various questions about a nomination and answer by rating on a scale of one to five stars. In general, use the following guidelines when deciding how to…

Yes I agree it's a fine line toward telling people how to vote. Saying "art in bars is allowed so you should vote highly" is obnoxious and leading reviewers. I just know in the past I've had to mention things like this and it seemed to help. For me its usually been the PRP rules. I think I wrote "This is a multi family…

This might have been what I read- first thing I found so far, but I'll keep looking. It's not 100% official but it includes quotes that are Edited to add this- it's an excellent resource to have. It doesn't necessarily explain how to rate each category really, but it lists a lot of things under the "culture" category- and…
-
That is exactly what I've always wondered- as I said, I feel like it's essentially the same thing as the first rating.

I would pass this. I think its reviewers not understanding this unique feature fits criteria. I might add something like "this is not a submission for the business, but as art and a notable and unique feature. It's a one of a kind art installation that has been here 15 years" I don't think submitting the bar itself would…

I need to find where this is clarified, many people misunderstand this. Yes, you are doing it wrong. But it's not really your fault because it is apparently very confusing for MANY reviewers. If you think the overall submission should pass, do not give it 1* in ANY category. There's also evidence to suggest 2*ing any…

I seriously wonder how many people are having this misunderstanding. I would guess a LOT. Niantic really needs to make this more clear to people. I know I read it somewhere at some point, but it's obvious a lot of people aren't aware of this.

I'd go to the "report a bug" thread. There are a few threads already up about email issues, I'd add a comment on one/all of them that relate to your issue. The other option is using the support option in Pokemon go (under settings-- support). Sometines they aren't very helpful but in this instance it might be an issue…

The 2nd reason about location is often because people can't find it on street view/sat view. This might be a good time to use a photosphere. As for the seasonal argument, you might want to include a link in the support statement to some information about the project to prove to reviewers that they are permanent. If you can…

Like @gazzas89-PGO said, depends on what it is for. If it indeed just bus routes, I don't think those are eligible. But I'm open to being corrected.
-
The others gave you good advice on the nominations. but back to the email- you really should be getting them, so that’s odd (barring the recent bugs that seem to be happening, they are usually consistent). Make sure they aren’t ending up in your spam folder. If you have gmail, a lot of people say they end up in the…

@BaltiCalling-ING that is in no way a pavilion or gazebo. If Casey says it’s ok for these in rural areas with no other bus stops, that’s one thing. But don’t be flat out dishonest.

I’m pretty lenient on business related murals. If this wasn’t in an office focused on *child therapy* I might give it low, but passing marks. As a mental health counselor, I really don’t think this is a very appropriate place for a POI. When kids are in therapy it is often to deal with trauma of some kind, or other mental…

This looks eligible to me, but yes- don’t copy and paste descriptions. another question- are you not getting rejection emails? A lot of times, the reasons are not accurate, but SOMETIMES they give a Little insight into why people were rejecting it.
-
Yeah... sign would help. But also clean up around it. Rake the leaves out. Move the chunk of wood. And maybe neaten up the rocks on the edges so it looks more polished.
-
In addition to getting it renovated- if it's below a statue that's already a POI... It sounds like it wouldn't show up in any games anyway (within 20m of an existing POI) or am I misunderstanding something?
-
It's definitely not the worst street art I've seen- but does look like a graffiti tag more than a legal street mural. The issue is that things like this often get painted over. It's at least not a total eyesore, but a lot of cities will paint over this kind of thing, as its technically vandalism (making it temporary). But…

Oh my word, the South Pole. I can't imagine there are too many reviewers there. I agree after a certain amount if time, things should just get pushed out of queue, and progressively pushed to a wider range of reviewers after so many weeks/months in voting.
-
You can appeal removals in the Invalid Wayspot Appeals thread, a few above this one. Be prepared to take geotagged photos of it/photospheres to show the area where the POI was before it was removed. If people are claiming to be the homeowners nearby, it might be difficult to disprove that. It's worth a try though.

I'm in the US- I often get submissions to review in French and Spanish. I use Google translate to translate to English. It's very rare this doesn't work. Google translate does a great job translating to English. But yes- this is how it typically works. If you stump google translate, and you have no skips, I would…
-
For the confirming location- is street view up to date? If not, I'm guessing why you got that reason. The pedestrian access reasons- people are probably being picky about there not being a sidewalk- is the pavement in the support photo a road? That's what it looks like. It might still have safe pedestrian access, if people…

Links in just the support info ARE fine, and often the only way to provide legitimate evidence to support what you're saying. Some people may misunderstand that this and give a bad rating incorrectly. Based on the rejection reasons given, that doesn't appear to be why it was rejected in this case. This appears to be valid…

Theres a few threads on the wayfarer reddit @gazzas89-PGO actually started this one Anyone know what the thoughts are on Victorian stink pipes? https://www.reddit.com/r/NianticWayfarer/comments/erh1xo/anyone_know_what_the_thoughts_are_on_victorian/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

I could swear I read a previous discussion on these but I can't seem to find it. It may have been on reddit. I know nothing of them personally, and I don't really remember what people said about them.
-
Probably nothing- it has happened to a lot of us. In the past when it happened more frequently they gave us some extra submissions once. In the future, before hitting "submit" a second time, wait and see if you get the email from the first time. It's silly we have to do this, but until it's fixed, it's the best way to make…
-
Is it possible it was within 20m of another portal, or, maybe reviewers adjusted the location which put it within 20m of another portal? That has happened to me before.
-
This conversation made me curious- in my area/surrounding states, trails tend to be marked and labeled on google maps. Fake stuff can be added onto Google maps too, but they're pretty good about removing stuff that's invalid. If people are having trouble getting REAL trail markers approved because of reviewers suspicions…
-
I would probably consider this to have adequate pedestrian access, because it is a post box which people are expected to walk up to. However, I feel like the laws posted actually hurt this submission more than help it. The homeowners, it sounds, don't have a choice whether or not the postbox remains there. They might not…

@LochKnessie-PGO Lo and behold, some of those do actually look interesting! I would accept quite a few of those with a good description.
