As a Scottish player I've probably reviewed and rejected all of those nominations already. There's bound to be actual eligible things for you to nominate in the area but if not you just need to accept that. No one is entitled to a Pokestop close to them so not being able to walk across town to one isn't an excuse for…
-
Increase the number of staff hired to look at appeals. I'll do it for minimum wage!
-
Without seeing your nominations it's difficult to reply. What you might think are good, eligible, nominations could be trash/not eligible/not portrayed clear so if you post them we can give better advice in the hopes of you being able to get more success.
-
I'm astonished to see one looks to have been accepted.
-
"How does an appeal work?" Not very efficiently really. You put in your appeal, then sometime between now and the heat **** of the universe it might be reviewed by Niantic who will likely disregard any supporting information you provide, look at the photo and either accept or reject it while selecting one of their standard…
-
Also wanting to know if anyone has recently had any Appeals accepted? One of my Appealed nominations moved into the "In Voting" stage and stayed there for nearly 4 weeks. But now it is back to the original "Appealed" stage so no action took place. Have Niantic already given up on the Appeals process? Were those that were…
-
"Precious nomination" 😂 What is it though? Can you provide the full nomination with the reasons and location so we can get a better idea. The photo does look a little bit blurry tbh.
-
So my nomination that was appealed and had stated "In Voting" with the Niantic logo next to it for nearly 4 weeks has now changed back to what it was before and just states "Appealed". Strange.
-
A few weeks in the "In Voting" stage. I have other appeals that are still just sat at "Appealed" and have been like that for months that I'm not surprised about. But previously when an appealed nomination has moved to the "In Voting" stage it was either accepted or rejected within 2 or 3 days. I assumed when it got to "In…

If one has been approved and showing nearby when people are reviewing it's possible people are marking your new nominations as duplicates of that one.
-
Is it painted or is it carved into the stone? If carved in I'd say it would be a valid POI, if just painted on then could be Temporary so not.
-
Got the opportunity to retake the test just then to reset my rating. Back to Good now so will see how long this lasts
-
I really don't understand the Rating system any more. I was consistently rated as Great for over a year. Then at the start of the year I dropped to Good. And then down to Fair. Despite not changing the way I was reviewing and sticking to the criteria. I then managed to get back up to Good and then very briefly to Great…

"Dude this must be clarified to all members because it cost people who submit time effort money energy just to submit things sometimes gas and airfares plus data" Who is taking flights specifically for nominating Wayspots? 😆
-
I'm don't agree with the stance that "Bench = Automatic rejection" and don't think that is correct. If it's just a generic bench with no interesting qualities/design/memorial to a famous person then sure, reject. But if sold correctly then fair enough. Used as an anchor for a location of interest that would otherwise be…
-
Thanks, maybe title is a bit generic but didn't want to nominate each individual piece of equipment but rather the set as a whole - description and supporting text gives more information about there being 5 pieces of equipment and what they are etc. Checked on IITC and no duplicates of that equipment, there is an exercise…
-
So you knowingly placed the wayspot in the wrong location just so it would appear in Pokemon Go and then are annoyed when the reviewers did the correct thing and placed it where it should be. It's this kind of stuff that gives the Pokemon Go playing community a bad rep.
-
I got my most recent Restaurant nomination accepted and in my supporting text I included its current TripAdvisor review score which is in the top 5 of the area so think that could have helped proving its popularity. I also explained how it was different to others in the town and unique due to what they specialise in etc.…
-
Haha, true. But they only make about a billion dollars a year so you can see why they just don't have the resources available to do so... ¬_¬
-
One rejected - A restaurant/bar so know can be difficult due to subjective nature of it and probably didn't sell it well enough. Two still waiting to be seen - one only appealed last week but the other around same time as the above.
-
To be honest if you hadn't told me it was a baseball field I'd never have guessed that. Looks like the remains of an old barn fenced off on some wasteland.
-
Not all wayspots are used in all games. Says it right there in your acceptance email: "Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games (and may take up to 48 hours to appear)" With Pokemon Go it may not appear if there is already another Wayspot in that cell.
-
I think Niantic should hire people to travel the world investigating areas and give them the power to instantly remove fake/incorrect/dodgy Waypoints. I suppose I would be willing to join this team for a reasonable salary.
-
"In the last weeks there have been examples in the international wayfarer discord, where someone admitted, that UK has a separat group of players, that think, that the Nia criteria are too lax, and therefore they vote harder." Got any more information about this? As a UK based player would be interested in knowing what…
-
Based only on the small images/name I reckon there's at least 3 there that will/should be rejected so maybe might want to remove them (International Market and Fine Chocolates possibly generic businesses, Blossom Sculpture possible PRP) rather than risking them getting an upgrade for nothing. Assuming you get an upgrade.…
-
You've titled it as a Statue when it doesn't appear to be so marking it as abuse/fake seems fair.
-
I'd personally say if the benches/tables are clearly permanent - like bolted to the ground etc - then they should be considered eligible as places to socialise. But those wooden ones that can be moved about perhaps now. Unless the location is clearly signed as a Picnic area.
-
I love submitting, I just love heading out and exploring my area looking for cool or interesting things that fit the criteria for a Waypoint. I've discovered a lot of stuff in and around the town I live in that I'd never noticed or knew about previously which is cool. Sure it gets frustrating when a nomination is rejected…
-
I'd also leave out all the stuff about previous rejections in your supporting information. That's irrelevant to the nomination and might encourage certain types of people to reject because they know it'll annoy you.
