I got like 40-50 trail markers accepted, 2 recently got removed. There are more people here (the Netherlands) noticing this, also the little free library’s are disappearing. I hope they won’t continue this as I basically live in a forest with lots of trails, so if they all get removed I’m back down to 0 stops. They should…

This. I hate these challenges because my country always gets left out. Sure Germany and France get a challenge but the Netherlands and Belgium do not. Niantic just wants to boost the countries with the biggest monetary value, instead of helping the community as a whole. Heck, give us 500 pokecoins or ingress stuff instead…

Safari also has one, however that one only translates everything else, without the Korean/Thaiwan/Japanese text 🥲. I’ll try chrome later or I’ll just finish my 50 reviews and leave it to it.

When you find a duplicate just click on the picture of the waypoint and you can select it as duplicate.. So you don’t need to click “no” when there aren’t any duplicates.
-
Here people literally nominate every item in playgrounds and while I don’t really think its in the spirit of wayfarer, I do believe they are in the interest of the games that use wayfarer. And since I’m technically allowed to accept them (if on the correct spot) I always accept them.
-
Because if you only get your own city you directly benefit from accepting them. It’s a pain in the **** when you get French/German text edits though.
-
I don’t review that much but I cringed a lot of how people “correct” the text. “Atleet” to “Athleet” It was literally correct (in Dutch) the first time and they edited it wrong. Maybe keep the text editing local, so if people change the text it shows for local people and they can vote if it’s good or not.

I still find it ironic that Niantic added loads of **** pokestops in India themselves, yet people hate on the Netherlands for having bot farms that accepted everything. As a Dutch person I had a lot of waypoints denied for stupid reasons (they were accepted the second/third time) so if there was a “bot farm” it definitely…

This is true, the appeal system is trash in general, so is the community voting system. Its literally a lottery now when you have something that’s reasonable 🥲. Niantic should be clear about what is a good waypoint, what isn’t a good waypoint (schools etc) and that everything else should be up to the community. Not like…

in the background is most likely ok But the one of OP is basically like he took a picture of the scooter 🥲
-
They should use the ingress likes system to determine which one will be a pokestop and have them refresh like every couple of weeks. So if there’s a good POI that gets more upvotes the pokestop switches to that POI. Relocating gyms would be an issue, however since gyms are also decided by this system I think most Gyms are…

Yes, it’s taking the ****. In my area there are a lot of trail markers that get suggested, I always accept them when it’s on the correct spot and the picture and description are good.. However, from my own nominations I know like 25-50% gets denied for no apparent reason, I uploaded the same pictures and description and…

Niantic released a lot of pokestops in India that were trash, just for the sake of having pokestops. While I do not agree with cheating I do believe Niantic should make the game more playable in rural area’s. From where I used to live it was 15 minutes walking to get to the nearest gym, now I got 5 gyms within 5 minutes,…

Its based on the amount of reviews and the amount of agreements.. So if you did a lot of reviews in a short time span the agreements haven’t been keeping up therefore lowering your rating.. It should go back to great within a couple of days if you quit reviewing (assuming you’re doing a reasonable “job”) I’d just ignore it…
-
I got 2 while I’m quite sure I did a lot more voting. My agreement rate, while being great, is like 50% though because our regio is messed up and basically a lottery if it will be accepted or not.
-
Reason is dumb. But was that the best picture you could have made? I honestly would have declined it for having a bad picture if the description was also mediocre. I’d honestly have resubmitted it with a better picture instead of wasting an appeal on it. However like I said in my own topic, the whole voting system is…

I assume they are waiting till everybody forgets about this, Niantic has been caring less and less about the people that use their services and care more about the money. Its a shame honestly
-
This isn’t private, the whole building can use it. There’s also pokestops in zoo’s, amusement parks etc, which you can only access after paying money. Only when this causes disturbances then it might qualify for removal.
-
Guess we’ll be playing ingress too then, with my friend that would be 160 a month then. Should be enough to do every community day a new walking trail and number/nominate all the trail markers while making a new pogo route. Bought a book with all the walking routes in our city so I can put the name of the route and the…
-
Does that with ingress work? Couldn’t be assed **** a second pogo account but ingress is quite easy to lvl up (living in a city).
-
Yeah because a lot of them are fakes, which is why I always checked if they were actually there. However when Niantic apparently couldn’t care less about people taking it serious and just accept random ****, I’m not even going to bother to check the location. Why would I spend the time reviewing carefully when I get more…
-
Then the issue is with Niantic with not being clear on what should be accepted, what shouldn’t be accepted and what is up to the reviewer. like I said before, some get accepted, some don’t get accepted and those that got denied were accepted the second or third time I submitted them. There’s 0 logic and I’m not going to…
-
A lot of them were fakes (half of them I encounter reviewing I cannot find), like with the stolpersteine and trail markers I always make 100% sure that it’s at the location where it is. If it’s off my more than a few meters I adjust the location or decline it for incorrect location because for trail markers you need them…
-
I get your point but I don’t want to randomly number the trial markers.. Not that that works because even when the real object is numbered I still have to deal with the same ****. Niantic should start to give longer bans to people that are trash reviewers, until then it would probably be more time beneficial to make a…
-
A lot, including editing what it is and/or its location. Doesnt help.
-
It pops back up when I refresh the page nor does it say it needs to be moderated (like when you open a topic). I can understand the bit that the description could be better, however that doesn’t change my other issue.. The fact that every time I have to review a trail marker I make sure to check if it’s even there, if the…
-
For some reason it won’t let me post my post where I quote somebody with added pictures, but I even had trial markers that were numbered on the trial marker, denied for being double or other reasons. So while I understand where you’re coming from, this doesn’t work in practice. Also with the point that it is by “best…
-
Didn’t receive anything, did anybody get it yet?
-
Proves my point that they should prioritise those that do a lot of reviewing, lol.. Thank god it’s quite active here, most get accepted within weeks.

I thought there was a German bot network that used the “not historically significant” thing to deny pokestops. I had trail markers denied for the same reason.. I think they are great POI’s, because when you’re in a zoo you can click on them to see where which animals are. If trail markers qualify then I cannot see any…
