I report these too so you’re not alone
-
Good catch. Definitely needs removed
-
Makes absolute sense
-
@LostMeli14-PGO I’ve noticed this too, the upgrade gives it more of a chance to be denied. I feel like it looks like I’m causing trouble & I’m not at all but I just wish we could get more info on it. Are Niantic only reviewing upgraded nominations/ Do they get reviewed by half the amount of people that normal noms do or…
-
@Jtronmoore-PGO that’s exactly how it goes for me but I’ve had a church denied that was upgraded as well. I almost wonder if an upgraded nomination isn’t completely up to us at times to vote upon. Regardless something seems a little off
-
I completely agree with both of you @Lechu1730-PGO & @SeaprincessHNB-PGO

Exactly. Completely agreed. Perfect choices & great explanations
-
Agreed 👆

Hopefully we can get more clarification on the questions & comments above & someone from Niantic explains further. @NianticGiffard

Press settings within the Pokémon Go app, press get support, press contact us & type out your question @00HUNDOHUNTER-PGO

you can ask from settings in pogo I think 🤔 @00HUNDOHUNTER-PGO

I also work for the website Ingenweb for the county that I live in & am a frequent photographer for ancestry website findagrave taking photos of the graves within the cemetery so the easy part is finding the graves. The hard part is the bio description & supporting info
-
I appreciate all of your comments. I am basically just looking for advice because I have “zero” experience with submitting gravestones. I’ve submitted a lot but when it comes to graves, I don’t know what to do or where to begin because I know they’re so hard to get accepted. I may give it a shot. What the least that can…
-
@ExTaza161-PGO i marked your comment as insightful because I agree & it takes little things like that to help others notice as well. Don’t get discouraged or give up. It’s frustrating at times I know & understand but I promise it will get better & get easier
-
@toniukupaoni10-PGO the only thing is we aren’t technically allowed to try to influence the way a wayfarer votes. But I understand what you mean
-
@Jtronmoore-PGO We have some things accepted in the cemetery here but none of the gravestones so you’re right. They’re hard to get accepted. I’m afraid to submit them honestly & I appreciate your kindness. Thank you for that
-
This has been submitted multiple times in my community & has been denied every time @Jtronmoore-PGO https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Hendricks_Sr.
-
It should have passed as a mural
-
It’s submittable. Just submit it again
-
Good catch on that one @TWVer-ING
-
The difference is benchmark compared to survey mark
-
The ones that have a cap open & are used to set equipment on to survey. It is not a benchmark. The benchmark will have writing on it. I have worked as a surveyor as well
-
it is not a benchmark. I can show proof of it
-
I really appreciate this discussion @oscarc1-ING. shows that you care to discuss it. I appreciate that.
-
They’re technically not considered geodetic benchmarks. Those are considered rods. If you open the cap there is not a geodetic benchmark, just a cone shaped rod. There is a major difference between the two & people need to educate themselves on this
-
If it has a cap that you open it should not be submitted. They don’t even look interesting.
-
The kind that you submitted is an access point. I don’t consider that a geodetic marker. There is a difference between the two
-
I agree with @flatmatt-PGO
