I could see it being acceptable. Maybe try multiple times in different ways

Thank you guys for your advice

@oscarc1-ING I don’t need help with my nominations. I normally help a large group of others submit things as well in my community. I’m not the only one having this issue. The others I know have had this issue as well. I was just asking for advice. If anyone else has had the same issue on here because local to me at least…

there are thousands of caches so I wouldn’t assume only a small group of people do it. We could say the same thing about Ingress, Wizards or Pokémon Go. We can say that about a lot of things but there are no real statistics. I know a lot of people that like to geocache. I am not one of them. It’s all just opinion.…

I have submitted these & gotten them accepted, it all depends on the proof & if they are important to history & if they are accessible or not. If a photosphere of the area can prove these things. Why not submit them? And why not accept them?
-
I don’t recommend submitting them all. I recommend only submitting “old” ones that show the date & are accessible, not on the side of the road
-
In indiana we don’t have geodetic benchmarks that are new. Newer ones also don’t say old dates
-
I’m not trying to be rude at all but I stated historical as in old. Not “new”. “Important to history”
-
That form really doesn’t ask enough info for them to even know which location I’m talking about, unless it asks it later. I’ve moved things but never with that form
-
I see now that your nomination is in ingress & not in Pokémon go. Therefore I assume it’s in the same s17 as a nearby ingress portal
-
I’ve noticed I’ve had better luck getting things accepted if they’re not upgraded
-
I’m sorry @Apromodo-PGO. I didn’t realize you were new to this. My apologies. I recommend using Ingress to use to check & see if it is in game. If it is on Ingress chances are good that it could appear in game. If it’s in Ingress & if it pops up in Pokémon Go I recommend using Pogomap to mark the map so you know what cell…
-
Thank you for that
-
I tried to post a photo but it didn’t appear so let’s try this again. If you use pogomap, tap settings, tap visual & then go to S2 cells & scroll down to level 17. Then you can check this cell & see if another portal or pokestop is in the same cell as the one you submitted. If there is this could be why it never appeared.…

https://www.pogomap.info/ is another helpful page to check to see. S17 cells are what you want to be looking at

needs moved to the where the arrow is pointing on the photo above. Thank you so much

Put the pin on the church & submit it again. I think for reviewers they may have assumed it looked ran down & that is not the case. If I get it I will rate it highly. This should get accepted easily
-
Agreed keep submitting this until it gets accepted. I have 100% faith in it & if I get it I will rate it well for you. Thanks for posting!
-
The only way I would submit this is if there was something historical about it. From this view it’s just a cherub. Perhaps, where is it located? Is it permanent or could it be moved from where it is located? Do you happen to know the owner? Maybe they could know more information about it. If I can help in any way possible…

I don’t find the bike to be offensive unless it is personal & gives away the submitters identity somehow. The dog on the other hand I would 1* & report as a live animal because a live animal should NOT (“in my opinion”) be front & center in the photo. Otherwise without the dog this submission is an easy one to accept for…
-
The bike really doesn’t cause any harm honestly because it doesn’t contain any personal information unless it is front & center in the photo then I would honestly only see that as a distraction from the submission itself. The submitter with the dog could potentially be reported for having a live animal in the photo…

@NianticCasey-ING I would like to know thoughts exactly on survey markers? What geodetic survey benchmarks are acceptable & which ones are not? I would also like to know more honestly about gravestones. This is a subject that a lot of reviewers do not want to touch on but historical & famous graves could potentially be…
-
Had it happen awhile back after reviewing only one submission
-
I don’t recommend wayfarers to have to check the database because I agree it is a painstaking process. It’s a lot easier for the person who is submitting the geodetic survey marker, if it is historical to download street view if they want the nomination to be accepted & submit photospheres of the area surrounding the…
-
The best recommendation I can give is for submitters to download & use the street view app & submit photospheres of the area surrounding these so reviewers can see these & prove if the marker is actually there or not quickly instead of checking on the database & wasting time trying to figure out the correct location…
-
The numbers on the marker can be taken & matched up to what is listed in the database. It is overlaid on a map & you can basically figure out where the marker is just from overhead without using street view. I know they’re easily faked but I firmly believe these should definitely be accepted depending on the location & of…
-
I clarify these as acceptable because they are historical & there is a thing called geocaching where these are important & a lot of people get a kick out of it. If never heard of it. I recommend checking it out. It’s interesting

Thank you guys for the comments & information. I wasn’t counting the swing set as the playground. Now I know they’re not acceptable if the playground already is. Good to know
