Can we get some clarification on point 2. Are we finally getting new confirmation of not accepting every single same thing of a POI in an area ? Are you saying that things like multiple football fields, multiple trail markers, mutiple survey markers, multiple information signs etc etc in an area which currently go through…
-
If you have examples create a new thread and post details of the submissions and hopefully the community can give you advice on how to get them accepted. If you see any waypoints at inappropriate adult only locations then report them for removal
-
You'd be surprised, people complain about every little thing because they "don't feel its appropriate" and council's / business etc have a tendency to over react. As an example a few years ago a local council recieved a compaint regarding fluorescent light fitting covers from someone who didn't feel they were safe. Said…

In what context ?
-
So would you be perfectly happy to accept a dog waste bin for each of the inital scenarios that you wrote out ?
-
However if you modify that rule to make those acceptable your making all things that are generic viable candidtes, which makes a mockery of the I in POI. Also should the rule be amended to accept generic mundande items where do you draw the line on things being accepted. Remember the whole dog waste bin in a park debacle ?…

Looks nice but personally im not convinced that peoples personal mail boxes is an appropriate location for a POI. Think you're submission as a whole is well done, im just not sure about the subject matter.

When they get your image thats all they see, they don't get the meta data. When they Google search the image, they see lots of identical looking images. They therefore have no idea if its 3rd party photo or not seeing as it looks identical, so they HAVE to reject it. Based on the information they have from the submission…

What does amuse me about this thread are two things Firstly the number of down votes I've amassed for saying the reviewers cant confirm its not a third party image And secondly the amount of people who don't understand how copyright works in relation to taking a picture of something. It seems most people who have…
-
To be fair to them they've not done anything wrong If you Google search the Bourne Stuntacular lots of the images look almost identical to your main picture and there's the problem. Theres no way of them knowing if its a legitimate picture or not, so they have erred on the side of saftey and have rejected it, considering…

What valid and correct point?

Not eveything is visible in ingress anymore, some only exist on then Lightship database

What ? this time you're going to have to give a little more information on what you've done and why Are you saying you've taken action on 67 wayfinders for rejecting invalid candidates? This looks like its going to be setting a very bad precedent of Niantic approving things against their own criteria, and then reprimanding…
-
Sorry not sure of the exact issue 1) because you submitted a POI that was at an invalid location. 2) because you submitted a POI that should have been at an invalid location but you moved it to a different location 3) because you submitted a POI that was a valid location opposite a school but it was rejected Or something…
-
Shout out to the "submitters" who don't understand what 'criteria means. If you don't understand the words, then you shouldn't be "submitting" contributions in the first place. Niantic, it is quite literally your job to stop people who are mucking up the system from doing so and you are doing a poor job of it. Do better.…

I could dissect each of your nominations and point out the numerous flaws, but really there isn't any point as you choose to constantly ignore any advice anyone gives you and just rant at people who don't agree with you. You have a singular vision that all of your candidates are valid. It would be funny if it wasn't so…

Can people stop overreacting to one part without knowing the context. Just reporting something as to big to scan could just mean that use x number of similar reports on a POI before they disable the ability to scan it for all players. No one knows what it means. No where does it even imply that doing so will cause their…

I'll be honest, at first glance and going by the picture and name I thought I was looking at a car lot. Your picture does you no favours what so ever. I know from experiance taking pictures of a building with mirrored glass is tricky and as you have already guessed a better one would be just of the sign, with an expanded…

The majority of those are just poor submissions.
-
You'll need to provide more information than just saying its not there / its prp. Create a new post here https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/categories/removal-appeals Follow the template and add any relevant information and pictures
-
Unless it meets removal critera they wont remove it. While PITA portals are annoying next time you clear it field over it yourself or block it with links. If the POI isn't going to be removed you need to adjust your game play instead
-
Was it for something in a park ? For nominations in large open areas it tries to pull the nearest Street address to it. As long as the pin is in the correct place don't worry about the address
-
@NianticGiffard , can this thread be closed as its a duplicate. Im assuming the OP submitted twice after the first vanshied into the ether for mediation due to the images.
-
Based on your location rejection reasosns I think reviewers are mistaking the fact that its a private members club for the location being inappropriate, when it isnt. Id suggest "jazzing" up your nomination to improve your chances. For the main pic try for a mid distance between your current picture and the support pic. As…

Artwork or banners like this one that contain a persons image are fine to use as pictures. No privacy laws have been broken etc. What I would be concerned about is that it doesnt look permanent, just being a banner on poles looks like its designed to be removed and replaced regularly. You're going to need something to…
-
I like it and would probably give it 4*, yes the picture is pretty bad but a new one can be uploaded at a later date, and its easily recognizable as what the POI is and the intention behind the submission.

Actually youre wrong. Its a picture of a logo for Scoops 37, the icecream shop in Southend The reason it looks like a fake is because the logo has a plastic sheeting over it to protect it which then reflects the image of the pub opposite as well as the sun etc. If you check out the Scoops Instagram feed and or website you…

To your points 1 - wrong, being close to a K12 location doesn't make it invalid. If it was inside a K12 location yes, just being close, no. 2 - without knowing what it was its unlikely the submssion was meant to be the entire area. 3 - it doesn't have to be accessible to everyone, it also isn't required to have access by…

Cant see a watermark, but the low quality rejection is clearly accurate
