Is there any chance you can clarify the term visual uniqueness please. Some , myself included, say that having multiple instances of the same looking POI (usually trail markers) in a small area, means that they are not visually unique and should be rated sub 3*, personally if there are 5 or more of the same looking POI in…

Actually if you want to assign blame, you can be. The guidelines, which you are told to read before making any submission, clearly states named trail markers, its always said named trail markers. In this instance either you didnt read the guidlines or incorrectly remembered the guidlines, either way the initial fault with…

It should never have been submitted and should never have been approved. Its a generic footpath sign, its not a named trail marker, both you as the submitter and the reviewers who passed it should all recieve punishment / reprimands as its been done against criteria guidelines. Its a trash POI that deserved to be rejected…

Wrong there is no need. If the person doing the edit in your example had reworded the description to include an explanation of the name then it would have given all the information to the reviewer to make an informed choice without influencing them.
-
Adding a reason is not going to happen, they have said previously that with edits they want the reviewer to do so impartially without any influence. Having a section for giving a reason is going to influence a decision.

You have it backwards on how Wayfarer works and prioritises submissions. Its not done on a FIFO or LIFO system. The system, apparently, prioritises POI's in less dense areas of existing POI's over more dense areas. So your much smaller city with less POI's in it would be a higher priority than Toronto, so even if the OP's…

Just for curiosity, what was the rest of the details of the sub ? Whilst I dont doubt you that trail markers in your area are difficult to get approved, I was wondering if there was anything else in the submission which may be causing reviewers to 1* it.

Sorry but im another one who cant see what aspect of it screams fake, what made you think it was OP ?
-
Well that saved me time in replying, exactly why I would have rejected all of them. OP, sorry if this sounds blunt, but the reason you've had them rejected is simply they aren't acceptable the way you have presented them.

To digress from the main topic slightly, they have already stated previously during a dev talk that PoGo was a very rushed project, that combined with the size of the sprites, design of the user interface led to their choice in how POI's would be distributed in game. So clipping and game mechanics were taken into account…

They dont have to give anyone any notification. If something is removed and someone doesnt like it, tough, they just need to grow up and accept that the game doesnt revolve around them and their own self important view of the world. As to wasting unpaid workers time, its done on a voluntary basis, no one is forced to do…

Do you know how much announcment they have to make for any changes to any of their games ? Zero Zip Nada Nix None Zilch Etc. Thet don't have to give any notification if they want to change an aspect of the game. The self entitlement of people crying "waaa they've removed POI's without telling me" or "Waaa they didn't tell…

You've failed to sell its importance as a local hyperspot. Whilst at one time its true that vegan coffee shops and bake houses would be a unique business, thats no longer the case, I have one down the road from me and I live in a rural town. Your support statement didn't give any details of its importance or whats unique…

The picture of the sign to represent the Bar as a POI is fine, its not the most awe inspiring but ive seem much worse too. However your description is severely lacking and the support statement lacks substance. I googled the bar and it does appear to be a good local venue which showcases new bands. However not everyone…
-
Ignore the showcase, it currently shows ineligible POI's that have been incorrectly accepted and 50% of the time isn't worth looking at. As to your submission, if you must submit a post box, which I implore you not to, then at least make sure it isn't one from the current monarchs reign as it will be rejected as they Te…

Interestingly i just did 4 reviews, the map area on 2 was aprox 1km by 1km , where as the other 2 were 500m at maximum. There is no uniform map size when populating nearby POIs

Its a trash POI, pun intended.

Waiting time for a submission to be reviewed can vary massively even in a small area. How long have you been waiting ?
-
It doesnt look like a mural, looks like graffiti which is invalid.
-
The issue is its a generic sign, not artistic, interesting or historic. Its a 1* candidate. Don't re submit it, find something else instead
-
If its a security checkpoint / post, then its not a Gazebo and so instant 1*
-
In order 1. Its a bridleway map, not the most exciting map in the world, it may scrape through but its a very meh candidate. 2. No a bridleway bridge is not a good candidate, its not on a named trail so doesnt meet criteria. For non UK peeps a bridleway is just a slightly wider standard footpath that can be used by horses…

The picture you have uploaded is illegible on here, can you do another one ?

Because this entire thread reaks of muti accounting, cheating, and blatant lies. If they are real people with real accounts then that is good but currently due to your blatant lies in this thread I am highly sceptical

Having many id's does make you guilty From Niantics own TOS 3.1 Cheating Niantic prohibits cheating, and we constantly take steps to improve our anti-cheat measures. Cheating includes any action that attempts to or actually alters or interferes with the normal behavior or rules of a Service. Cheating includes, but is not…

It looks like some cut down trees have been dumped on the ground and im not at all convinced thats either a playground or permanent. You would need a lot of evidence to prove that it is a playground and permanent, link to an official local government website confirming it, a sign for the playground, etc etc Without any…
-
Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. Niantics view is, and has always been, that it doesnt matter if a POI is only available to residents of a certain area, i.e. a playground behind a gated community, or in this case a MUGA inside an apartment complex. As long as the POI is in a communal area and not on PRP then it is valid.
-
I suggest you re familiarise yourself with the rules regarding safe access. Niantic state "Note that it is not sufficient to be able to access the nomination from a nearby sidewalk. There must be a pedestrian walkway or a trail leading all the way to the object"
