It is not at all normal for nominations in Australia to be upgraded for two weeks and not enter voting. It generally occurs within a day. I don't have an open DM with you, but Tintino has access to the details via a system that he created for Ambassadors to log such issues. All of our documentation and attachments are there.

One example is “Butterfly on Wall” at -31.945487,115.858017 The Ambassadors have a more detailed report with findings, screenshots and screen recordings that can be shared.

A reason will also not appear if a NIA human staff member rejects it. In that case, it will say the community rejected it in the email, but there will still be no reason.

That was an old algorithm. It has changed now to not be based on Hilbert curve any more.

The location is approximately 40.7720629, -73.9226096. However, I don’t see any indication that there is concerning behaviour involved. The Ingress portals seem to respect proximity inclusion rules, at least.

Niantic is manually reviewing photo edits. They are processing most recent photos, as well as oldest outstanding photos. The old photo catch up is currently up to Nov 2022. Your ‘missing’ photo is still there, but it isn’t new enough or old enough to be caught be either end of the Niantic reviewers.

It is most certainly not an official name. If I brought up ‘Emily’ in a meeting with Tintino, there would be a utter confusion.

Please do not use screenshots from Streetview for your Wayspot photos. This is submitting copyright images owned by Google as if they were your own, and is against Niantic’s Terms of Service.

Regarding the 'Permanent and Distinct' category, we have provided feedback to Niantic that the tooltip is missing a description of distinct, and raised a ticket about the rejection reason still appearing as "Temporary or seasonal" (old question) instead of "Temporary or not distinct" (new question).
