The OP has been waiting three weeks with no response. From experience, appeal reports sometimes get missed, which is why people resort to bumping their own posts. @NianticGiffard or @NianticSC, could someone ensure this appeal is being reviewed? Thanks.

Based on the text of the plaque and Google Search, the real Wayspot location should be somewhere instead Samaritan Health Care, which is located south of the current Wayspot location. https://www.samaritanhealthcare.com/masto-health-library/

I thought the pointy part of the pins is the spot and the larger part is just to make it stand out? Just like real push pins. For the nomination pin, the pointy part is where the Wayspot is located, yes. But for the duplicate map icons (the Pokestop and the ! pin), the Wayspot is under the centre of the icon, not the…

The GPS coordinates listed in were about 100 metres away from the fence. For anyone else looking, the fence is approx. 29.812049,-95.390782. @Fiercepancake-ING Is it possible that the Wayspot was removed due to the fence being part of a private residential property? It appears that it is on the fence to the house at 704 E…

First, it‘s in the middle of the Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit. There is no possible way you could get there by foot. Based on the Wayspot photo, there are a lot of people who are there on foot. Pedestrian access does not appear to be an issue that would warrant removal. Additionally the stop is based on a temporary…

I found a photo of the rudder on the website for the Jacobsen Museum, whose entrance is located 160 metres away from the Wayspot location. https://www.wisconsinshipwrecks.org/Attraction/Details/100?region=ByAttractionType I don't see anything conclusively showing that the current Wayspot location is on private residential…

The Ingress map and the Wayfarer app are able to view portals anywhere in the world, so I thought I would help out in this case, despite being located in Australia. There's only 12 Ambassadors to cover the planet, after all. :-) I keep in frequent touch with the US ambassadors anyway. The game shows #3 in the street which…

The location for Bike Path 3 appears to be spot on to me. Looking at the Wayfarer app, the location of the Wayspot for Bike Path 9 is 38.9991390,-76.7459280. This makes it not eligible to appear in Pokemon Go or Ingress due to proximity with Bike Path 3. Based on the Wayspot photo, the correct location is on the left…

The sign in the screenshot says "All visitors must report to Reception". This indicates that some people are allowed to enter, therefore there is access for some people. But even if there wasn't access to visitors, the staff who work there would have safe pedestrian access to the Wayspot. The Wayspot location appears to be…

@NianticTintino-ING Is there an update yet? It has been 6 months since the initial report and no word back. The issue is still occurring (for all players).

“When that happens, reviewers are asked to review all the photos of the wayspot, including the new submission.” Minor correction: Only one of the existing photos is shown, not all of them.

This Wayspot is a very clear photoshop... And here is the source...

Perhaps it was because of the phrase "off your" -- if you ignore the first two letters and also the last.

Hi @celtadiego-ING — Not sure what you mean by it appearing in the street view from March. The March 2022 shows it is gone, along with the sign next to it (which I assume had info about the sculpture).

@NianticGiffard Thanks for getting this one reviewed as per your reply to my other post today. Two extra things: I didn't notice when I first made this post, or maybe it wasn't added at that stage, but there is a second Wayspot photo on the image which uses the same copyright third-party photo, simply uncropped. The…

Maybe it would be good if a mod such as @NianticGiffard could pop in and have a look at the discussion? As ambassador, I don't have any abilities on the forum above a regular poster.

To clarify, I didn't see any visible object where I placed the X. That was just based on comparison of the relative positions of the four larger pieces of equipment and rough triangulation. Not perfect, but enough to place it in the general vicinity of being west of the main play structure. Sorry if that was not…

Thanks for pointing out that the satellite date is not up to view @ProfessorGugui-PGO -- useful to know. It appears looking at Google Earth that the satellite view seen on Google Maps is from April 2019. The most recent clear image is from April 2021, which shows the double swing set, as you point out. The other parts of…

The panoramic photo doesn't seem to be a mirrored image, either, as the elements of the playground match the expected orientation when viewed from the east end of the park. For example, this yellow equipment on the right... ...appears to match the yellow structure visible at the north end of the playground. The entrance to…

Thanks for trying to help me out. "My explanation is that most likely the OP took a picture of the opposite corner of the park, which has fence barriers meeting at a higher than 90 degrees angle, consistent with the view below." It does not appear that their photo could be taken of the south-east corner. Labelling the two…

@PsiTurtle80-PGO I'm a little confused. The satellite image you circled appears to be within a few metres of two fences at (close to) a right angle with a tree at the corner of the fences. That geography seems to perfectly match the OP's photograph. The photograph and footage you have shown though don't appear to match…

Thank you @NianticGiffard . Sometimes it seems like some posts get missed in the process for whatever reason, so thank you for picking up on them when you get tagged. There are another seven posts of mine (in addition to the two I tagged you in recently) which are 7-14 days old so far with no response. I have linked those…

@NianticGiffard It has been over two weeks since posting. Is there an update on the outcome yet?

From my experience, they never place the pin exactly where I request. Even when it’s very close, it’s not the same coordinates.
-
@NianticSC It was not possible for @sogNinjaman-ING to report this via the Scanner because they came across it while doing Wayfarer, and not while playing Ingress. There is no ability to request removal from the Wayfarer screen. They may not live anywhere near the Wayspot, which might mean that they cannot report it. Given…

@NianticGiffard Could you have a look at this one, perhaps? A Wayspot was successfully removed by Niantic a few months ago, but has already been resubmitted and approved again.

@Nutronic-PGO You forgot the latitude/longitude.
