A second appea; approved in the last 24 hours also didn't receive an email. This one was originally submitted July 2018 via the original Ingress app, which is consistent with the bug reported by myself and others.

Today my Ingress nominations incremented but +1 as expected. But I never received back the nomination that was ‘skipped’ on the weekend. I am at least three nominations lower than I should be (including the two dates in April when I did not receive new nominations).

There are six suggestions, which means three were suggested by the submitter (through Pokémon Go) and three were auto generated. I think it is pretty safe to say that the AI algorithm wasn’t responsible for the second choice on that list.

Emails do not contain rejection reasons at all any more. It appears to me that the issue is that Niantic reviewers provide rejection reasons to appeals, but do not provide rejection reasons for non-appeal NIA reviews.
