didnt this already happen? Netherlands? What happened afterwards?
-
nah
-
The comment by Aaron is just wrong in so many ways. People here have probably already said everything that is needed to be said. The statement fails to consider culture and context. In some countries or regions trails and trail markers are part of the culture and history, such as Norway. There are long historic trails…

Ingress had some sort of event where during a short time span Niantic would approve all submitted clothing drop boxes with "MissionsForAll" in the description
-
Nice to meet you kawin
-
Do not submit those that are on the property of a single family residence, a house where one family lives. Swimming pools that are shared between multiple apartments are okay.
-
Do these encourage socializing/exercise/exploration or are they made for it? (A place where you can meet people doesnt mean its made for it, like a bus stop). Air quality sensor - This doesnt seem like an object you would explore or take a closer look at. Gazebo - This looks like a bus stop shelter, again, those are not…
-
That was Netherlands, this is in Norway
-
Probably not. But if that somehow happens, im starting an actual riot
-
I hope its the right area. I found these. Look for places that encourage exercise / socializing / exploration Exercise - athletic courts, fitness centres, playgrounds, exercise stations etc. Socializing - Picnic areas, shaded picnic areas, cafés, clubhouses Exploration - Artwork, informational signs, bulletin boards,…
-
Even dumber, im trying to report actual fake nominations. But those dont go through?!?!?!?!?
-
I saw the other removed trail markers got submitted again which is great, but this shouldnt even have started in the first place
-
Was it an edit? That is intended There are rare cases where you review your own submissions, it has happened to me before but not recently. That is usually a bad sign, the nomination you review seem to get stuck and upgrades dont even work on them.
-
Ridiculous, Niantic.
-
Would be fun to have all wayspots have some usage though, like Pikmin Bloom using non-visible wayspots for postcards.
-
Hope these gets restored :/ If not you could submit them again. I dont understand how they got removed, they dont meet any removal criteria.
-
Same for nominations. I wish i had more, too many candidates here
-
I honestly wish it was further, or no limit at all. I have some photos of candidates on the other side of the country. And it could actually be useful to create wayspots in extremely remote places. Someone who cannot nominate due to level restrictions could send photos of a candidate and let others submit for them. I think…

what do you even want us to do lol? Go against the criteria of Wayfarer? Thats not the true spirit of "the game"
-
What about closed parks, amusement parks, museums? They are all private property but you can still access them. If you have a friend in that residensial area you could access it. Single family home property, private farms (not farms that allow visits), or inside homes are the only rejectable private properties according to…

ALL THE TIME

Wayfarer is 2D, so an inaccessible nomination hanging on the roof, or an inaccessible sculpture below a pedestrian bridge can meet criteria if you can stand exactly above/below it. You have to "touch" it on a 2D plane
-
On the object. Or a part of it that is best accessible. Athletic courts - Place on the border, not on the field, at the entrance of the courts where people access it. Building nominations - Entrance works. Placing it somewhere on the building where it would be annoying to reach, like at a part of the building where BTS…

Nope, unable to contact these submitters. Plus, previous attempts at asking submitters (and abusers) have gone badly.
-
Search on intel in one area, that is 1/3 of what appeared on the search results
-
Not having unique titles maybe. Hard to find a particular wayspot along the trail if all the markers are called "Pilegrimsleden". They should have placenames or cardinal directions in the title too.. Photos are okay, supporting infos are normal
-
They seem to go through if not reported though...
-
They must meet criteria, and not meet any rejection criteria. A pool in someone's backyard is on private residensial property A pool for an apartment complex does not meet any rejection criteria, and meets the exercise criteria A pool in a park meets eligibility criteria Same for pool tables 😛

I dont want to publically show where and who are submitting these. In Norway there are multiple people submitting nominations of the pilgrimage route (trails that lead to the Nidaros cathedral) where the description is just a copy paste from the pilgrim website, the national hiking website or other hiking websites. Same…
