Maybe someone can shed light on this odd rejection...How is this possibly seasonal ? What checks are placed on reviewers making rubbish and random decisions ? Nomination does not appear to be permanent or appears to be a seasonal display that is only put up during certain times of the year. Knockbridge civic award "Louth…

Another helpful answer, than you sir.

Thank you. A very helpful and detailed explaination. Now I understand and can improve my performance.
-
Very helpful insight, thank you.

Fair point, but encouraging exercise and exploration is. Would you say they count or not ?
-
I have a question about trail marker posts...I am seeing 30% of nominations being such pegs. My view is that they are ok. They encourage exercise and exploration. There is a definition in the drop down list for "trail marker". Yet I see very many are rejected. Any thoughts folks ?

"instead of submitting this ever again..." Really ? I was asking for help and advice, not a rude comment. You should learn some manners Ing. Manners cost nothing.

Not sure why the link above does not work - I'll try again. http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/mmrGcgqNsHICpSDNd3-uV7zv8uMbPZa4P29arLCp4XQg93ren_XKgiC7gbYJUjNBKeXRCbARJ9wa6HjyY5ygXHHhOIGkIP5qBEVuz8amRg

Dookie, I'd be happy to show you the stop next time you are here. Please message me and we'll meet up.
-
Yes, I read them. Still seems to me that it's just a whim of some random mods rather than anything tangeable...a local kids playground is accepted, but this grade 2 feature isn't. Madness. All the 5x proposals. All the topping on this forum. All meaningless if random mods "don't like" a perfectly acceptable stop. Madness,…
-
I'm not blaming 1 person, in fact I started several times about the group. It meets the criteria, I'm hearing. But just because a few "don't like it", it gets rejected. That's hardly a valid reason...
-
Are the un- named people who make the decision to accept our reject suggested new pokestops actually reading and contribution to this forum ? Photos like the 2 attached and starring it's grade 2, in a public place, safe, away from schools... please tell me what else is needed ? It's not a natural feature, it's not on…
-
I'm unsure what else to do. When I show close up photos, I'm asked for wider. When I show wide, I'm asked for close up. If the reason for rejection is bogus then it feels like they can't find a true reason for rejection, they just pick one randomly. Nobody can progress in such a situation
-
I've uploaded and shared about 12 photos, all told. There are only so many ways to photo a covered walkway... Still, you don't explain why it's rejected as a "natural feature". How can this be a natural feature ? It's clearly manmade. Miderator abuse, I'm starting to think
-
So.... how can this be rejected as someone (or worse, some group) thinks it's a "natural feature"... It really showed look to me like those rejecting are abusing the position of trust they have been granted.
-
Photo attached. You can see the 2nd public open path
-
There are 2 paths. 2m apart. Both are visible in the photos submitted.
-
I do know it's a group decision, but I'm speechless as to why. I've gone through all the comments and criteria and it meets then all... it's in a public place, of architectural interest, away from schools, safe, grade 2 listed. What else can I add ?
-
I've resubmitted it again, with all the comments noted. The covered walkways had now been rejected as they think its a "natural feature"... Clearly an abuser of power, or dumb as a mule.
-
No idea when it will be finished... they didn't start yet... That's why I proposed to use the photo of part of the structure, without the fence. But, and here's the big but... those who rejected it twice stated the reason was it's wasn't on a public right if way do asked for wide angle photos. Catch 22
-
Nothing to hide. It's part of the Pavillion Way redevelopment of the old Asylum
-
I keep putting "covered walkway" in the description...
-
The walkway covers part of a public footpath. It's not connected to anything.
-
Historic England monument number 1098523. Search for "covered walkway"
-
It's historically interesting, on public land and is a permanent structure... that meats the criteria alone without everyone rushing to reference grade II websites. More photos attached.
