Si, cualquier elemento en la pared de una casa unifamiliar debería ser rechazado. Es un criterio en el que Niantic no da ningún margen.
-
It doesn't matter if it's the outside wall, if that's a single family building then it's not acceptable according to Niantic
-
@NianticTintino Do you really want every wayfarer to take part in this challenge? If that's true, Why isn't there a banner at the top of the page in https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/ ? At the moment only the people that visit this forum or read other sites where this event has been announced (by other users) are aware of…

In this case there's nothing that you could have done, that location wasn't feasible for Pokemon Go as you already have one wayspot at the east and another at the west, so no matter what you did, it would never appear in Pokemon Go. For future nominations, learn how to use the Ingress map and view the S2 cells so you can…
-
It has been approved and it exists in Lightship, but for Pokemon Go it shares the same S2 L17 cell as "Mendenhall Park, Big Pine", so it won't show up in your game. Dissapointing? Yes, of course. Search for Pokemon Go and S2 cells, Niantic doesn't like that we talk about them here, but everything is fully documented. Check…

I think that you should raise that issue with the Ingress team. Or ask for the release of the wayfarer app with the ability to nominate wayspots.
-
Thank you for the reply. According to the initial post: "and when you come across a contribution that you find to be the most confusing to you, take a screenshot of it and submit it to the Criteria Challenge Form" But I wouldn't do that. I would keep a folder with several screenshots of potential candidates where I've…
-
When you nominate in Pokémon go you can see all the existing wayspots, even if they aren't in ingress.
-
I really can't understand what do you mean. Top three most submitted? With worldwide reviews?
-
Many people would defeat you single handed. They have too much experience creating fictional POI 😂
-
Now we have "Where's my portal?"
-
You can call Starbucks and notify them that there's one store that it's missing in Pokémon go. They'll take care of it by notifying the proper contact in Niantic
-
It's a known issue. https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/35209/new-wayspot-issue-in-pokemon-go

The link that you provided points to the list of nominations of each user. You must screenshot your nomination and additional info and paste them here (use the paper clip icon at the bottom of the text box instead of adding them as images to avoid sending your post to auto-moderation)
-
Impossible, ingress players are totally honorable people and their only goal is to preserve the purity of lightship.
-
@NianticOtoStar @NianticGiffard @NianticTintino I could somehow understand that you remove this wayspot because you think that rural roads are very dangerous locations where thousands of people die each day. That's not the point of this comment. What worries me is that this appeal has been started with photos claiming that…

If that's accepted as a wayspot, I guess that soon there will be millions of request about any random path. I would say that you need the same requirement as any other trail: a marker that anchors the wayspot.
-
Then you might ask so it's demoted to a pokestop, but it would still remain a valid wayspot in other games.
-
You have proposed as a candidate a random spot around a pond. You need an anchor with the name of that pond, the name of the park, a trailmarker. In any case, the aereator in the middle of that pond is not a valid nomination, just in case that you want to nominate that. Why? Because it's not possible to reach it by foot.
-
It would be nice if you look up what "visually unique" means for Wayfarer, all the way back to the OPR days.
-
The current behavior has been reported as a big by several people. I think that everyone might agree that it's not what the community expects.
-
@HandaTakuya-PGO This means that you must select the pokestop/gym in your game, report it as an invalid wayspot for being in PRP and if they reject that removal request then you can open a new post here adding a screenshot of that email.
-
I wouldn't say that a plaque with 1961 is "historic", specially if those are fairly common as you've stated.
-
If the community approves an invalid wayspot several times, they might end up with a strike, as well as the persons sending invalid nominations.
-
If Bica do Terreiro isn't there in pokemon go you can try to ask in game support or any mods here about why that wayspot is missing in Pokemon. For any future nomination, check the intel maps and learn how ingress and Pogo select which wayspots are added to the game (20 meters and S2 cells)
-
Rename them to include for example the street names so they are unique and you can distinguish them in you Ingress scanner. Problem solved.
-
That's abuse. It's no longer possible.
-
The first one is 13 meters away from Fonte do Arco "Gótica", and the second one only 8 meters away from Bica do Terreiro so none of the will appear in any game as they also share the cell of those wayspots

You can click the three dots at the top left with the name of the author and that provides an option to report a problem and you can opt to select that it isn't a photo of that place (it's clearly in the middle of the lake) or even try to provide the correct coordinates so they might move it.
