  • In some cases the property owners have requested a geoblock to prevent new pokestops/gyms in that area due to problems caused by Pokemon players. If you can provide the coordinates for the accepted nomination, anyone with an ingress account can check the map and verify if it's caused by the cell system or only Niantic can…
  • There are different levels of S2 cells, each level split the previous cell level in four new sub-cells (half the width and half the height). So they go from level 1 (I think that just 6 cells to cover the whole world) to maybe level 32 that can be a few centimeters, Pokemon Go uses level 14 and 17 (other levels for other…
  • No, the problem exists in the Pokemon Go game. Lightship doesn't care how its data is used so if there are any extra or missing gyms, you should talk with the support of that game.
  • You won't be able to add new pokestops on the east side of the park. Pokemon Go uses "S2 cells" and the ones at that side already have one wayspot so even if you add new ones, they won't show up in pokemon. In this picture, the yellow lines mark those S2 cells
  • You've already appealed it, but in case it's rejected, I would for sure not name it "Emergency Operations Center", for most of the people it will take one second to reject it with 1* Don't mention emergency services or anything that can trigger such quick rejections ,
  • Someone else? It would be impossible to tell how many pokemon go players have written messages asking why their pokestops don't show up. If you don't want to read we can't help you. There are lots of good pages, infographics and videos explaining everything in detail, but you must take the time to look at them.
  • There are many external sites that explain when an accepted nomination will show in Pokemon Go, search for S2 cells , pokemon go, pokestops and gyms. Using some combination of those words should return you good guides so you can know upfront if your nomination will show in Pokemon go or not. This thread as any other that…
  • He's stating that he has the same problem, he is level 38 but the game tells him that he must reach level 38. Instead of mocking him, you should be grateful that he's showing that there are more people with the same problem.
  • They can try with the socialize aspect with regards to the confence hall and NGOs.
  • You will have a very hard time to get this approved as it's clearly moveable, even if you manage to convince reviewers that it could meet the exploration criteria, I bet that there's gonna be always someone that rejects it as temporary and as soon as several people click 1* then your nomination will be rejected. If the…
  • I would say that this is pretty acurate. A bench isn't inelegible, and a plain bench along a trail will be an uphill battle against all the people that dislike trails markers and benches, @icygloomkitten-PGO be ready to get several rejections, you'll have to create an almost perfect description and supporting info as many…
  • And you keep on ignoring that everyone that reported you for abuse were following directions from Giffard that trying to change one wayspot into another should be reported as abuse. If you don't want anyone to comment on your topics, then keep all your conversations as DM with Giffard. You're always arguing that you should…
  • With regards to c), I pointed out to you that such edits are considered abuse https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/discussion/34434/new-photo-rejected and you keep on with your idea that as your goal is pure, the act of changing one wayspot into another isn't abuse. But it seems that some people that reviewed your…
  • Bad supporting info doesn't turn those nominations into ones that must be rejected. A supporting info is additional information, maybe the title, description and photos are good enough to clearly show why that is a valid nomination and there's nothing to explain. On the other hand, as a nominator you should think about…
  • There's nothing that prevents a wayspot to be a business. They might be hard to approve, but after they have been approved, you should explain which of the removal criteria (available when you select the removal option in your game of choice) does this wayspot fit. Being a business is not an option in that short list.
  • Yes, there's a new setting for that in your wayfarer settings page.
  • Those locations are OK. As long as it's not in an unsafe area (for example in the middle of the lion's area), it's OK to have wayspots in parks or other locations that require to pay an entry ticket. They just have to meet the eligibility criteria as any other place.
  • Did you take photos of the wayspots in your visit yesterday? Were they different markers on two different trees that by a miracle look exactly the same?
  • A tip for the next time: Don't show in your picture those wheels as some reviewers will automatically reject it as "temporary". Think about it this way: You're in that location, you know all the details about the PoI, it's absolutely clear that this is a 5* nomination, but... the reviewers aren't there, they are able to…
  • Do you still have errors trying to upgrade a nomination that it's in voting? I thought that those problems were already fixed. Or maybe do you have one marked as "upgrade next" and you must upgrade that one to fix the issue?
  • You should focus only on the walking side. There's too much debate around trail markers, as some people claim that anything is a trail marker and others request that it must be a high quality sign on a know trail with online proof. So the best chances are if those markers include the trail name besides those encouring…
  • All these ones are trying to reach the new gym at the top of K2 😂 https://www.itv.com/news/2022-08-02/congestion-at-k2-summit-as-climbers-queue-to-reach-the-peak
  • They seem to be used correctly the way that I've read the posts.
  • It's funny that a mountain top is declared as valid, but walking on grass besides a rural road is highly dangerous. But hey, this is Niantic. Their games, their rules.
  • That same problem could happen if it was a sign with a post, so the problem isnt "pathetic quality". We've seen so many fakes in other places with every kind of fake info signs. People that want to cheat are gonna find always a way to cheat, specially in Niantic's games because Niantic doesn't care about cheaters.
  • Before this thread is closed: Every mention of S2 cells in these forums will lead to the thread being closed, ask such questions in other places: reddit, discord, .... The pokestops are restricted by Level 17 cells, that's why they might have stayed while moving them to their correct positions. Gyms are restricted by Level…
  • They should mark your appeal as a duplicate of the new wayspot. In the future (some years from now), it might be possible to remove an appeal to save Niantic's time.
