@YMegaSnorlax-ING in my country it is not appropriate to publish a picture with children's faces in it. Proving that a swing set has been moved is not a good enough reason to post with children in the photo.

Argh!!!! you people and your playgrounds are 1 poi!!!!! the people who use playgrounds would not agree. I do believe theres a bit of a life stage issue here. Humph!!! next time I'll submit these as one poi. https://intel.ingress.com/intel?ll=-27.566976,153.098496&z=19&pll=-27.56695,153.098636 These are separated by grass…

Hi @Raachermannl-ING I owning up to disagreeing on your post. I am a single mum and sometimes the only portal I can get to is a playground POI. I do not have the option to go for a walk as a carefree adult. I really don't. There's a little "Double income no kids" self inside me horrified by the restrictions now on my…

lol ... because ... wayfarer annoys the pants off folk? The desire to contribute is strong. The process is too wobbly... Hosette you have 1500 posts here. You are likely be a high volume nominater too .... but likely you are made of strong stuff to deal with the randomness that is wayfarer. 😜

With respect to your small town. Small towns still have many of the pois cities have. Just in a smaller walkable distance. Are all the churches submitted? is the town hall? is the the library? the local coffee shop?
-
You will find that people are very keen to tell you that you need to improve your submitting. The truth is though that even veterans will get trail markers knocked back. Here's one I prepared earlier...…

Happy to wait. Better that than having to resubmit some that I won't get too - I have 21 in appeal most should become pois.... there's a couple that were kinda fiddly. Tree cover. Satellite view out of date. For example a BMX track - it's a dirt track so it comes back "Natural Feature" it's insanely hard to photograph dirt…

I too have had that experience where I flagged a face and it still came through. But I still do comment.
-
Lol yes I do know they don't come though to the submitters. If it were so someone must have said something about my almost 500 nominations decisions. 1) Reviewing is very hard for me to do ... I don't like making judgements on people's efforts, sometimes I can't work out if it is a poi or not. I'm super familiar with most…

Where I agree that it takes time to nominate well. There's always something your could have done to improve your nomination. There will be no short of people to say how you should have done it this way or that way. Yet you can learn all the tricks, take the photo in the best light, best photo composition, best title, best…

But am I a typical reviewer?
-
I leave a comment on all rejections. And on some 5 star pois especially if they are places I want to go to and see. Slow and cautious intential reviewing - trying hard to get any submission over the line if possible. Even leaving links from google search results. For example the last review I did was a plaque on the right…

Cheers @NianticVK , If I have time I'll try to get the correct coordinates for many of the out of location portals here in this location. It's a great development. But too new for the satellite view. Hard to get the right location when submitting in those cases I guess.
-
Woah that's awful
-
I note that since preparing this last night the location of the Discovery Trail Stop 7 has been moved to a closer location.
-
Hey @LumixMaster-PGO, I just posted my quit too. Feel for you. You could check ingress intel. Like your idea about giving 'excellent' reviewers/submitters some sort of advantage.
-
Would have 5 starred this nomination but would have commented with @ should be replaced with 'at'. Friends do not let friends @ in titles. Lolol It's a great POI resubmit if you can.
-
Lol I 1 starred these .... whenever they came up in wayfarer. Lol . They certainly had fun with trying to get stops. Over reached lol .... they might have gotten away with 1....
-
... thought I would just let folk know .... I have made 490 submissions of the 84 submissions not accepted .... 35 are POIs now. Thes rest ....5 Fair call, 4 What was even thinking?, 2 Fences at PRP, 1 Playground item with a playground, 35 nominations of 29 POIs that in my opinion definitely are POIs AS THEY FIT THE…

First can I take the time to say omg lack of signage with that level of population around significant bodies of water!!!! What are your councils doing!!!! If people get into trouble you dont have any reference points to say where you are. Now that's out of the system.... The footbridges are worthy and so are the two…

I think the infographic idea is great but this infographic misses the main point: There is criteria and then there is the community interpretation of the criteria. And this as we all know is a wibbly wobbly beast. My recommendation is you make that clear to folk: Be of good courage for your nominations go into battle a…

Lolz how embarrassing .... I made pokestops for years before I saw them in pogo. Submitted a tonne of poi for the people. Doesn't matter whether they were agents, wizards, trainers or explorers. This is my place .. riding the wayfarer tiger is my thing. Take your 1 game only mentality and chuck it in bin. PS I fried my…

Lol upgrading is the curse of **** .... If you want a poi don't upgrade it lolololol I typically choose a gazebo or traffic box art. They have better luck.
-
This is great thread! 😃 Everyone is on point. The first thing i would say to a new reviewer is .... It's a wibbly wobbly thing. Things don't make sense and then with time they do . There's criteria and then there's convention in interpreting that criteria. The convention can be a bit nebulous so will put it in quotes. And…

I have no insight on why they are so out. Maybe submitter found the tree cover and the out of date satellite view to be confusing. The local council is doing a major development of the the whole Oxley creek catchment. Warril Parklands is the start of that. Beautiful public space.
-
This is the issue in a bit of an pic at a glance.... All the grey POIs in the red circle really exist inside the pink area.
-
Here's a clearer picture
-
It's ridiculous I'll have to submit location edits have them knocked back, do appeals, after doing photo spheres .... Just will have to be multiple visits to make sure none of my photo spheres have kids in them. A lot of work
-
Oh @TooLegitToExist-ING , it's really very badly done .... I tried to get the portal in the middle of the lake/wetlands and it was knocked back. I could not move it because I could not be certain of the location relative to the map.
