  • Well said! I did not realize for at least a month that the “.” was niantic’s rejections. I have had so many things rejected that while some are on the fringe, they do fit the criteria. And others which obv fit the criteria and are even mentioned in the criteria yet we’re still rejected. niantic can’t help but mess things…
  • Reminds me of the Jewel that was accepted in my area. I think it has since been removed tho as I can no longer see it on the map.
  • That one might have fooled me if I didn’t zoom in. The plaque is obv fake, it doesn’t fit the bench. And the wording basically says that person wants the bench to be a pokestop 🤦‍♀️. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was the person on the bench who was nominating.
  • I will move the pin if I can find the correct location. I don’t think I have ever used the “mismatched location” option. I either move it, 5* it, or, if I can’t tell one way or another, 3* it. I’m a stickler for correct placement. I give some allowance if it’s “close enough” but it has to be actually near the object, not…
  • So you’re saying you see very little that you deem deserves to be a waypoint? 🤔 I will 5* anything that I think should pass thru. 3* if I’m unsure. I only will 1* for obvious abuse or garbage. I do think this is a trend. I do know of at least one person that rejects way more than I think they should be. They take the…
  • 8-11-2020 - voting 9-13-2020 - queue my sister has one from July 2020 still in voting.
  • I agree. I’ve noticed most reviewers try to do as many as possible and therefore don’t even try to look at street view to see if the location is accurate. I’ve purposefully left identifiable houses and buildings in the background so that the location can be verified as accurate just to have them rejected as “unable to…
  • I’m more concerned that they are rejecting eligible nominations. This means their own staff doesn’t even understand the criteria. If that’s the case, how are the rest of us supposed to get it right? I’ve had the “.” Reasoning given many times over the last several months. If this was niantic reviewing things……they need to…
  • There also has to be clarification for restaurants and businesses. There is far too much interpretation, either correctly or incorrectly as to what should be acceptable or not. There seems to be a large swath of people auto rejecting any restaurant or business that comes their way. I guess that was not in question form.…
  • Apologies if this came up already as I didn’t read all 10 pages of text. Can we have clarification on what is “pedestrian accessible”? Too many reviewers think this means there must be a footpath or trail to the object in question. So anything with just grass access is rejected.
  • Nothing for me yet either for all 3 family accounts. Was not able to do many reviews but we did complete at least a handful on each account.
